Good product. Customer service for Amazon……
First off..The 5 stars are for the product itself.I’ve used this brand before and I prefer vanilla &oatmilk scent which can’t be located. There were good recommendations for the bergamot and lime. I can only smell the lime so not as pleased with the smell as I’d hoped to be..still, a good product. I will still have some moisture but it’s good for no BO. Lasts the whole day with no issue. The first time using this brand I put a lot on, thinking it needed a lot to work. This causes it to get residue on your clothing. Just a couple thin swipes is enough for me.But…ZERO stars for a product not delivered. But SAID delivered in a box with other purchases. So, they put you off for a bit. Then you have to scrounge through and “chat” with an automated system and have them call you.The person that I spoke with was very heavily accented and I have hearing loss. She used a soft pleasant tone, but was first told it had been scanned into the box and delivered and that was it. I had to question and be somewhat unhappy to have her put me on hold for the second time and then offered a replacement (you can’t replace something that was never delivered !) or refund. I wanted the item. That’s why I ordered it! It was ordered and delivered the same day. Amazing. So after way too much trouble I have my items. My daughter says people lie to them and try to steal from them all the time. I’m still offended.Of something IS missing, they don’t have to behave as if they think you’re lying when they don’t know. If they don’t know, they need better controls. If I have to deal with missing again, I will be rethinking using Amazon.

My radiation oncologist said this was the best
TL;DRMy radiation oncologist swears by Schmidt’s. I give this deodorant 4.5 stars. I am continuing to buy (I don’t steal) and use the Lavender-Sage and Lime-Bergamot scented sticks. Recommend.*Full disclosure: I have breast cancer: surgery and lymph node removal made my skin sensitive, the chemo made my skin weird and picky, radiation made me switch to aluminum-free deodorants, and aromatase inhibitors are making me achy and complain-y.*Also, I’m stinky. My family members have superhuman senses of smell. They let me know immediately when I have the slightest hint of body odor. I am a water dog among sniffer dogs.I have yet to find any deodorant, antiperspirant aluminum-filled or not, that works for more than 10 hours before somebody in my family makes gagging noises around me.*About aluminum-free deodorants-they require I do more work than regular antiperspirants. I cannot simply apply them over my existing deodorant when they start to fail.*I have to follow this routine with all my non-aluminum deodorants:(1) Wash my armpits, using a washcloth and some kind of soap, until I can smell and feel no trace of deodorant or body odor. This may take several tries. Wipes don’t cut it, though the Lume and Pacifica ones will buy me some time if I’m in a lurch. I have perfected the Navy shower.(2) Swipe on my armpits some witch hazel (if I can stand the scent) or Estée Lauder Soft Clean (expensive pink bottle of non-alcohol toner) (on horrible nausea days) to get rid of any residue I’ve missed, and to make my pits the right bit of damp I need to absorb the deodorant. I did this in the changing room after each radiation session (I had to have my armpits and body free of all lotions and deodorants and possible metals for each session).(3) Turn up the stick a little bit and hold the stick deodorant to my armpit until my body heat softens it, then swipe it 2-3 times to cover my entire armpit. Repeat on other armpit.(4) Rub the deodorant into my skin as if it were mineral sunscreen. I always apply too much, so I dab off the excess with the cloth I used to swipe the witch hazel/toner on my armpits.(5) Wave my arms in the air to make sure it dries. Dancing to music or praying makes this socially acceptable; doing both simultaneously helps with social distancing in the locker room. Note: This is a good time to brush my hair and apply sunscreen, while avoiding my family seeing me do my toilette with my elbows out like a chicken. If I’m drying my hair, I’ll blow cold setting air on them if I’m sure nobody’s looking.(6) Put on dark shirts very carefully. I always get white marks when I use non-gel deodorants, even before I went the non-aluminum route. I’ve mastered this skill. My family is not impressed though they should be. I wish it were a marketable skill.(7) Sniff myself, then sneak past my family downwind.*I have four different kinds of sweat, and here’s how long Schmidt’s works for each one before I stink:Bedtime overnight sweat: 10 hours, Navy shower as soon as out of bed.Hot weather sweat: 6-8, keep a shirt change in bag and at work.Exercise sweat: my sweat doesn’t stink, but a Navy shower is still a must because the rest of me will get stinky if I delay (Lume or Pacifica deodorant wipes, plus Schmidt’s steps 3-7 if I can’t use soap and water).Stress sweat: 4-5 hours.*Schmidt’s is one of the few deodorants that lasts this long; no other deodorant lasts longer. My radiation oncologist told me not to bother with any other aluminum-free deodorants.*Still, the lumpectomy and lymph node removal resulted in lymphedema and in making my right upper arm and armpit so sensitive that I hated sleeves (they still feel odd). For a while Schmidt’s felt gritty, so I had to try other aluminum-free deodorants.*I’m so longer so sensitive, and I use Schmidt’s all the time. I chose the lavender-sage and lime-bergamot, because I can tolerate lavender and citrus smells on bad nausea days.*I’m still using Schmidt’s, even though my radiation treatment has ended, because I always ended up sweating a little when I wore aluminum-antiperspirants, I want to sweat a lot when I’m at the gym so nobody thinks I’m a slacker, and if I use aluminum free deodorant maybe I’ll get to avoid a cancer recurrence and more radiation treatment. Magical thinking like when I carry an umbrella it won’t rain.Get the deodorant-it works.

Great product, great service
First order got lost by USPS, the shipper notified me of this very quickly and gave me a refund. I reordered and received the product. This is a great product, the best I have ever used. Great supplier service.

A better option but not a solid stick
I really like this deodorant because it lasts, washes off easily so I can shave my armpits without having to use grinder-level exfoliation first, and the sandalwood scent is delicate enough to not induce the tragic fragrance inspired runny nose. The only dislike I have is the very soft frosting like consistency because it’s impossible to put the lid on without some oozing outside of the container. I have to wipe it down before I can toss it in a travel bag and am worried about it melting in the summer. Another review makes me think it didn’t used to be this way!

Best deodorant by far
I’ve tried many deodorants and I find this one does the best job by far. I also quite enjoy the fragrance.

They work!
Keeps the pits from stinking, smells good. Can it be better? Sure...I wish it didnt leave a layer of waxy buildup, but if you want an aluminum free deodorant, this is one of the best.

Best brand out there.
This is the best "clean" deodorant brand that's widely available. It really works.

Non irritating & Keeps B.O away.
Great, natural deodorant. For a guy that works outdoors all day, this really does work. Fresh & masculine scent that isn't noticeable after application.Observation 1: hold the deodorant under the armpit for 10 seconds or so to warm it up. This will make application much smoother.Observation 2: give it a week before giving up on it. I had doubts about it's effectiveness the first 5-7 days. I reapplied it twice daily. But by the 2nd week my body chemestry had adjusted. With rising rate of cancer & other health conditions, everything that you can do to "go natural" with your ingredients is a plus. Deodorant is no different. While it may cost a bit more, research shows that getting rid of aluminum based deodorants can prevent some scary health issues down the road. Legit advice or not, I'd rather be safe than sorry! With my sensitive skin, this is one of 2 brands that I have used and will continue to use for it's effectiveness and light, non abrasive scent.
