White Mountain National Forest [Map Pack Bundle] (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map)

Like all National Geographic trail maps, these are great! I have yet to notice any inaccuracies. One noteworthy feature is a zoomed in inset of Mt. Washington and the northern Presidential range, which is invaluable given the number of trails there and the potential for navigational difficulty above the treeline. They are waterproof and tear-resistant, so this is a durable map set to carry in your pack when your hike. I always carry these when I hike in the Whites.

The Nat Geo maps are fantastic. Probably not zoomed in enough for geocaching, but great for trails and off-trail hiking. It is made of a plastic material that is waterproof and highly rip resistant.

Didn't get lost but had trouble keeping up with my 14 yo.Nice AMC maps. Don't go on a hike without one.

I just bought a home in NH and I have found some trails to explore.

It seems pretty comprehensive but then again I am not a hard core hiker, the information was a help though for my wife and I as we were not familiar with the area and were mostly driving around looking at fall colors.
