I was sceptical but this pencil does seem to prevent the lead from snapping. Still occasionally break the lead but away less than I used to! Also is sturdy and looks nice! Double win in my book!

I'm personally a bit of an aficionado of stationary, and it's a great pencil. Though I will say, the lead that comes with it writes a bit too light for might taste. I just swapped it for something more my style. It writes from about a 3h to h, so if that's your preferred range than it comes with good lead too. Other than that, I writes smooth and the reinforcement of the lead is phenomenal.

Some Japanese rocket scientists with way too much time on their hands came up with this amazing design. I know it is advertised as an 'unbreakable lead' which seems to stretch credibility. However, having said that I must confess that I have not broken even one lead! I marvel at the engineering that went into this! If only to impress your techie friends, you really need to buy these!

I sing in two choirs and constantly have to mark my music during rehearsals. There is nothing more frustrating than having the lead in my pencil snap as I am making notes in my scores; by the time I manage to advance more lead, I wind up missing my instructions and not writing in the proper markings.This DelGuard pencil changes everything! No matter how hard I press, the lead does not break, which saves me time and aggravation. Now, I can mark my music without the distraction of lead snapping off! I highly recommend these pencils!

As with other reviewers, I found these pencils to be mostly unbreakable. As a heavy handed writer, I appreciate less waste! The clip could be improved, as it is made of plastic and breaks easily. I have six of these pencils, and every single one has a broken clip. After about a month, it becomes weak and breaks off. I have to attach a separate clip if I need to keep my pencil with a notebook or such. Also, I prefer to use an additional gel grip since the pencil is very slim and hard. This helps tremendously. Overall, I am very pleased with these pencils.

Previously, I bought a single unit to see if I liked the Delguard system. After trying it out, I was just as delighted as the people I showed it to. I decided to buy this package to give to some family members, who were also delighted.If you want to improve your writing experience or simply feel premium, I highly recommend a DelGuard pencil and a Kurotoga. It's the perfect combination for any situation.

The Zebra Pen DelGuard is the best mechanical pencil I've ever owned. When using any other brand I am always breaking the lead but the DelGuard prevents that from happening.
