Cute display for any room
This is a great way to display photos or postcards. I think it's great for any Room, family Room, office, a teenager's Room. There is very light assembly required and after reading reviews I did use the provided screws to make sure I got the perfect mount. I'm not entirely happy with how I have it mounted it looks a little crooked so I'm going to ask for help when my boyfriend is around-- if you do not want your pictures to sag you need to make sure that you pull the strings tight before marking on the wall to screw the screws. The 1st thing I did to make things easier was use super glue to hold all the wood together because it just pops together with teeny tiny little dowels.I don't have enough pictures printed up at the moment so I used postcards as placeholders so I could see how it would look. The Clothes pins are tiny some of mine were a little deformed but they still work. The entire thing is very light weight.Over all I really love it very light weight easy to assemble easy to put on the wall easy to use price wasn't too bad I could see buying one for my teenage daughter to put mementos up on the wall. Not really sure how many pictures can go on it depends on the size of the pictures. My post cards are on the larger size.

Functional and Cute
This is exactly what I needed to hang some photos and make it easier to update photos over time. I replaced my old collage photo frames with this hanger, as it’s cuter, more compact, and easier to update photos. The wood pieces seem a little flimsier than I anticipated, but once you add your photos, the whole thing looks great.

Cute
My mom moved into assisted living and with limited space for photos I wanted a cute solution for her to be able to see her favorite pictures. This certainly fit the bill. There are certainly some positives and negatives. In regard to the negatives, first, the wood is a bit flimsy and when you screw the pieces together it is clear they are fragile and given the short length of the screws can be easily broken apart. I added wood glue onto the pieces before screwing them together and then clamped them. Once dry, stability was vastly improved. Second, the five strings are not uniform in length. I don’t know if that is by design, or by mistake but it looks a bit sloppy. Third, it would have been nice if they provided a screw head template because trying to figure out exactly where to place the screws in the wall, even in relation to each other was a pain, and took longer than necessary. On a positive note, once installed it was super cute and my mom was delighted. She was so excited and was showing it off to the staff as they came in to check on her. I love that is easy for her to quickly change out the photos when she wants something different. Even given the flimsy design, I’d buy it again.

Cute for my modern farmhouse theme
I originally bought this as a dirty Santa gift but the box does not show you at all what it is. It comes in a solid black box. So instead of having to explain it I just kept it.It comes in three different pieces on each side that you put together and then hang up. You can tell it is cheaply made but when its hanging up it's really cute. I got complimented on it and plan on adding some lights along the strands.I also like that you can have the strands more dangling or separate the sides more so that they are completely straight.

Decent for the price, but not well made
I like the way it looks on my wall, however, I hung it differently than instructed on purpose.CONS-Each plank of wood comes in 3 sections (6 in total) that you have to screw together. Its very easy, but you can clearly see the separation between each (see photos) and they don't even align perfectly straight-it is supposed to be hanging on the wall like a ladder, meaning the wood piece sticks out a full inch. This may not be an issue, but mine is right in the walkway of the dining room-if you do decide to hang it as instructed like a ladder, you will see the screws on the back and these little translucent rubber Circles that hide the rope holes (which looks really cheap and trashy in my opinion)PROS-The wood itself is sturdy, but easy to screw/nail through-I laid the wood flat against the wall instead, so that it barely sticks out from the wall and you also cannot see the screws/rubber circles-I was able to use 4 nails (the same length) as the screws they provided (which also are unnecessarily long for this light object). I nailed next to the rope holes, so that the rope would cover the nail. Now you can only see the 4 pre-made holes for the screws on the inside of the wood, but you really have to look for that to notice it.Anyway, overall, I’m happy with the product because it was cheap and I’m on a tight budget and I managed to make it work, but if you hate imperfection or have the money, spring for a better quality item.

Hanging is critical - and difficult - DO NOT BUY
If you're at all handy, you can make a superior item with little effort. If you don't get the holes exactly right on this, some of the strings will droop. I'm quite handy but even after a second try, hanging it was not satisfactory. One issue is that because the sides are in three pieces, there is a lot of 'give' and the likelihood of stretching the strings rather than bending the joints is remote. My suggestion if you are at all handy: Buy a 6' 1 x 2, cut it in half, stain it, drill five holes in each one and put a hemp string between the holes. If you get the holes wrong, you can adjust the slack by changing the position of the knots. Buy the cute clothespins somewhere else.I would not recommend this item if you are expecting a neat installation.(Later, after trying to hang a photo, the wood that holds the screws broke. This thing is a piece of junk! Not also that the wood leaves stain on the wall.)
