Does the job
Seems well-insulated. Outside plumbing that had frozen in the past because of exposure even with heat tape, has never frozen after the addition of this insulation. Temperatures down to four degrees Fahrenheit (15 deg. Celsius) have not affected these pipes. No freezes.

WSOBUE Backflow Preventor Cover
The WSOBUE cover seems to be "fit for purpose"; although, won't really know until next winter or next freeze. The WSOBUE cover is definitely an upgrade to replace an old vinyl cover with cotton insulation. Construction of the WSOBUE cover includes foil, so hopefully it'll work like an emergency foil blanket when anchored to the ground.

Worked great to protect a water pedestal in RV park
We used it to cover our water pedestal in an RV park during a recent freeze. We were able to cover the entire pedestal, as well as the water filter, during 4 nights of sub-feeezing temps (below 20 degrees). Nothing froze!

Great value, easy install
Bought this for my sister-in-law and she loves it. Sheโs not mechanically inclined but she said it was easy to put on and was 10x better then the towel her sprinkler guy suggested putting on it.
