My 1 year Granddaughter is infatuated with itsy bitsy spider song. Also, when we FaceTime, we used to babble back and forth. So when I saw this doll, I had to get it. It’s extremely cute but flawed. Everything works except the babble. I read reviews and tried everything and can’t get it to work. My Granddaughter just loves it so we are keeping it. Just kind of disappointing.

I ordered for my granddaughter for Christmas. I received one and pushed the button to play songs. It played one song repeatedly. So I sent it back and ordered another one. This did the same thing. So started reading reviews and found out you have to open the battery pack and switch the button to on so all the songs will play!No where on the box does it say this..it was very frustrating. I wasted time because I sent the first one back when it worked all along.However I never could get the doll to babble but at least it played the songs.The doll itself is very cute and I'm glad I got it.

I too bought this babble doll. It only played one song so I thought It was a defect.So I bought another one and it did the same thing. As I did some exploring on the doll I discovered that where the battery is housed there is a switch. One for Demo, Off, and On. It was on demo mode so if you switch it over to on you will get all that the doll should do.Sad that it doesn’t say this on the package.

Like I said, before the doll itself was durable and played many little songs just by touching the hand of the cabbage patch doll. You could even wipe the dolls, hands and face with a little wet wash cloth.
