I have held off from purchasing aftermarket earpads due to numerous complaints ranging from poor sound quality to noise cancelling issues.Sony makes ordering factory replacements costly and inconvenient. You are only able to order through a Sony partner for $70 including the cheapest shipping option. Considering the manufacturing cost, I find that price to be outrageous.These Soulwit are identical to OEM. Same material, construction, sound, and noise cancelling. My original Sony pads were so flattened that they caused incessant pain and ran incredibly hot. This was most likely caused by the degradation/reduction in padding and material causing my ears to rest on the frame. I would say the Soulwit are slightly thicker than OEM and are incredibly comfortable and breathable.Install was under a minute using the provided tool. The earpads drop directly in and are secured in seconds. The dimensions are precise and material is exact to OEM so no worry regarding fit.For the price, they cannot be beaten. Soulwit are identical to OEM Sony in every way. The advantage is the Soulwit saves at minimum $50 and avoids the hassle of dealing with Sony’s third party partner.

really easy to install! i was worried the color would be off, but they match the headphones nicely. sound quality is the same for me, noise cancellation is *slightly* less powerful. no complaints for now

Easy to install. The instructions are clear and they give you images as well on how to do it. The sound quality is still good and the replacements are soft. However, I did notice that the noise canceling with these are not as effective as the original ones. Sound will still leak in unless you put your volume 1/3 or halfway loud.

Pretty good replacements… I feel they may be slightly less comfortable than the originals but after several weeks I’m used to them and can’t even remember whatever difference there may have been.

It fits perfectly to my headphones, no problems on installing, they feel like the original ones.

The best part of this is the included prying tool. Because without it would feel like you could damage the headphones, which of course is the opposite of why you bought this in the first place. The replacements pads do feel a bit stiff though, could be that I was already used to my worn out original pads. I will see how they hold out over time.The sensor works perfectly, so you won't have any issues with it. I would recommend, however, that when you remove the original pads, take a soft cloth and clean the sensor, because mine was absolutely dirty, and after a gently cleaning, not only did it worked again as intended, but it look nice too.

Tool worked great and they feel exactly the same the originals.

I have had these headphones for four years now, and wear them frequently. The original pad was getting flat and cracked. These were a perfect replacement and made them feel new again. They come with a removal tool to pry the originals out, and it was easy to snap the new ones in. Changing took 5 minutes at most. Back to a great seal and nice padding. Would get these again as a replacement in the future. Definitely worth some extra money over the cheapest options.
