Works good as directed. This foam gets compliments for scent. Different scent from the same company’s Touch Up Salt Spray which gets attention as well. I like to use this foam before air dryer styling and then same company’s styling powder. Easily returns style even after most hard work days in Los Angeles Summer weather.

My idea of a great hair product is that it is working but invisible. Upper Cut is this product. Strong yet resilient (no helmet hair). Sheen neutral, smells great, and lasts a full 4 months with daily use on short hair (2 pumps only). You could walk through security at Zurich Flugplatz and even the best security in the world wouldn’t be able to tell you’re holding.

Smells great and gives a perfect hold without being sticky or stiff.

The smell isn't super off putting, but anyone that's sensitive to scents may dislike this. Smell aside, the product works really well and has no downsides that I can think of. It's a decent product.

Comes out like spit in a poorly designed pump system. Terrible product. TWO STARS Jan 2023 UPDATE: I think the foam issue was because I was living at high altitude in Colorado. I came down to the Chicago area, and it all worked out OK. Product is good and works well. Just be wary if you live at high altitude. FIVE STARS

Perfect amount of hold for short, curly hair. Smells great, too!

I have very thick hair and wear hats often. This is a great product to get rid or hat hair without having to shower!

I give this product 3 stars only because I’ve used it before and had been completely satisfied. My previous purchases had been from a barber. This time, however, the fragrance is nothing like the prior. It has a very strong petroleum odor; not pleasant at all. For reference, fragrance of previous bottles were that “just left the barber” fragrance. Sorry, that’s the best way I can describe it. Most will know what I mean. My plan is write this one off and try again. Hoping for the best… 5/28/23 update. I ordered another bottle. This one has a better scent than the last but still not as good as the first I had. There seems to be a bit of inconsistency in this product…

Perfect for keeping your curls hydrated and styled while smelly absolutely scrumptious. Once I started using this product I never looked back. Other products were either too strong, leaving my curls hard and crispy, or too weak, leaving my curls matted and exposing my poor hairline. This tonic foam is just right. It keeps my locks firmly in place without drying them out. I would be nothing without my tonic foam. NOTHING!

Muy buen producto, fija sin apelmazar y puedes manejar el cabello durante el día las veces que quieras que mantiene el peinado sin problema. Tiene un aroma espectacular si te gustan los olores especiados. Con una o dos pulsaciones suficiente para fijar, dependiendo del largo del cabello. El producto no se agita, simplemente se presiona y sale la espuma ya con la consistencia adecuada. (No hacer caso a la reseña de que se sale el producto, lo que hay que hacer es buen uso del bote y solo presionar)
