I Am Very Impressed with this product. Those of us who have aging parents find ourselves being sole care giver, doctor, therapists, counselor, maid, chef, etc, etc. My loved one having just horrific head pain every single day...nothing worked to negate it...even pain medicine did not seem to have much success at defeating this leviathan. In my research I learned that terrible consistent non-stopping day & night head pain-aches is one of the symptoms to a significantly decrease of Magnesium. I have an EXTENSIVE BACKGROUND IN MEDCINE...so I Am VERY PARTICULAR to what products I purchase. They have to be clean from all metals...titanium dioxide (paint derivative) aluminum anything (suppresses immune system causes damage to nervous system producing alzheimers, dementia, hand tremors, head tics, etc), so on & so forth. Divine Bounty met my strict requirements & I have seen a lessening in my loved ones head pain. My loved one was in a terrible car accident in 1999 that damaged the neck & other area's of the spine so we know headaches-pain this is a contributing main factor. Good quality and nutritious

So, I take supplements. I take a lot of supplements. Some I know really help me (glucosamine, where if I don't take it, my back tells me within two weeks), and some are kind of a shot in the dark (I'm looking at you, megadose of vitamin d and that expensive activated b complex). I read a scary article on how out of balance our magnesium levels are, and added this magnesium citrate. Truthfully I started taking this brand because I couldn't fit the four horse pills (FOUR! Not even kidding!) a day dose from another brand in my granny weekly pill container and this has a two pill dose. I figured it was one of the shot in the dark supplements...until I ran out when refilling my weekly pill container. Last night, for the first time in a few months, I was awakened in the middle of the night with the feeling of my calves beginning to cramp.... I used to have problems with my calves cramping in my sleep all the time, and then it sort of went away...sometime not too long after I started taking magnesium supplements. Bingo! So, I guess magnesium moves over from a shot in the dark to a necessity... and the Divine Bounty Magnesium Citrate is reasonably priced with a smaller horse pill requirement than most of the others that I've tried.
