A lot of sheets advertise they're like hotel sheets (and aren't): but these really are: that kinda heavy thick crisp smooth cotton that feels great and is very sturdy and doesn't cling to you or tangle (so, nice and cool!) Here's the thing about hotel sheets: they are that thick and sturdy because they have to stand up to lots of commercial laundering, and those laundries have pressing machines to make them flat and smooth. Retail sheet makers aren't interested in making sheets that thick no matter what they state on the label. We've tried a lot of "premium" high-thread-count sheets and had them be disappointingly thin and not enduring... my husband tore our prior expensive Pottery Barn sheet with just an ordinary ragged toenail. I got these Lane Linens on a Prime Day sale and we freakin' love them. 6 months in, they are still nice and thick and luxurious-feeling. Despite their thickness, they don't get many wrinkles, and I can't imagine being able to tear one with a toenail. These are a heck of a value for the money. If these ever wear out, I'm for sure buying more.

If you're reading reviews on sheets, you know what a good set of sheets really means. Not hot, not cold, not silky but not sandpapery either. A good set of real cotton sheets with an accurate thread count is more than comfort, it's the difference between a decent night's sleep and that sleep when you sleep like a rock. These sheets are heavy, and not weighted down with heavy cardboard rolled inside. The corners of the fitted sheet are double stitched with 2 separate elastic bands that keep the sheet from rolling off of the corner of the mattress. I washed them with 2 rinse cycles and dried on low heat, very little lint in the trap after drying was complete. The flat sheet is a smidge on the narrow side, so it won't tuck on the sides with a thick mattress like I have. Not a big deal, after an hour of being in bed it will be untucked anyways. The length is ample and leaves plenty to tuck at the foot of the bed. As mentioned in some other reviews, yea, they wrinkle. Does nobody understand why pure cotton dress shirts have gotten rare, while cotton/poly blend shirts have taken over? Cotton is a pain to make look good, it requires ironing and starch. I'm not concerned with wrinkles, and you shouldn't be either. Get them out of the dryer when they are warm and make the bed, the wrinkles are pretty minimal in comparison to other sheets I've owned. I am at a point in life where quality means a lot to me. I don't mind spending a little more to get what I want, and you shouldn't either. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, treat yourself to a set of these, you won't regret it!

I bought two of these sheets sets 5 years ago on another site and this year after 5 years of BRUTAL BRUTAL abuse by a now 5 year old I was forced to replace after tears appeared. NOTE: I also bleached soaked them over and over again which you are not supposed to do yet they still held up until Spider-Man flew for the final time off my waterbed headboard and SPLAT the damage was done.Yes I was sad that it was time to buy new sheets . But even sadder was the fact I couldn’t find these EXACT sheets. So I read reviews on other sheets and bought and returned and out of frustration just gave up.But one day last week I looked again except this time there were a few videos so I watched and during the video they showed the sleeve insert LABEL, which is seldom shown in the description photos, and I was like whoa cuz I saved the cardboard label and the plastic tote of the original sheets (re use) and bam! Same RN number same label except smaller with the addition of LANE LINENS. I was finally in business again!!!Let me say they came today and I could already tell they were the same awesome thick, soft, crisp, cool, heavy, very durable sheets I LONG TO sleep for. So very worth the purchase if you are after TRUE Egyptian cotton sheets that will truly outlast your grandson’s first five years 4 pit bulls and 3 cats and be abused by bleach soaks every wash just imagine how long they will last a single or couple with no rambunctiousness and no bleach as the tag says…..don’t look any further than LANE LINEN RN 155286 you will NOT be disappointed!So I bought the white and I am going to ice dye them to match my duvet cover I recently bought white and dyed. I will hopefully be able to return and edit this to showed how they turned out. Wish me luck!

I like the fabric texture, it seems strong. The flat sheet is long, but the fitted sheet is not deep, which is only 15 inches. The flat sheet is long, and the fitted sheet barely fits on my bed. I wish it was more than 16 inches deep. I will not buy this again or recommend this to anyone who is looking for a deep fitted sheet.

Bought my 2nd set of king size sheets because they have that extra row of wider elastic at each corner, and there is a tag midway saying top/bottom. Both make the bed so much easier to make. I like the quality of the sheets, they aren't silky but more cottony, high thread count, wash well. Yes, they do wrinkle but that is not a concern for me.

I absolutely love these sheets! Deep pockets, soft. They are not thin, they seem like they will last a long time. Color is beautiful! Great buy!

Not yet put to use. So cannot comment. However the pillow case is too small for Canadian pillows. The manufacturer in India should be made aware of this. I now expect the Canadian distributer (Lane Linen) to send me a replacement pillow case (made from Egyptian cotton) of larger dimensions as a replacement.

Oh my goodness, after searching and searching and wasting tons of money on other sheet sets, we are SO happy with these! So crisp, thick but soft and very high quality. The fitted sheet is a little big and can accommodate a thicker mattress, but it still fits nice and snug and the elastic is generous. Washes beautifully and doesn't stretch or loose shape while sleeping. Also doesn't stick to you like bamboo or microfibre do and you don't get tangled. Stop your search and buy these!
