Quality material , easy to assemble even for and old man. Wife loves it. The leaf storage is also much better than the old table.

Beautiful table, very sturdy and stable. Yes, it is heavy, but it makes for a lovely solid table. So far easy to clean. The leaf mechanism is also very easy to operate. Looking forward to many years of this table in our breakfast nook!

After remodeling my kitchen with wood floors I purchased this to offset the colors. I was amazed at the ease of putting it together. It took two of us 20 minutes. The ingenious butterfly leaf is what sold me. I don’t need to find a place to store the leaf. It takes getting a little used to working it but worth the time spent. The quality is good. We recently moved and downsized our larger table. We still need seating for when the kids and grandkids come, so this table works great (because we add a card table when the lot of them converge). The price point was nice and it was delivered promptly - in front of our garage door - my poor delivery human, I know you meant to set it somewhere else but it was The Season Of The Box here and, well, I'm grateful that it tis not in the ditch somewhere. I give 4.5 stars on the delivery. The table was easy to assemble, but even easier with another human to help. Choose a human that tis not salty with you, though, or you may be left unexpectedly holding your table top -alone. It's sturdy enough but loses a star because its finish scratches fairly easy. Like, if someone is still salty over a small cardboard situation 'taking over the garage', and passes the potatoes a bit too aggressively, the finish is gonna scratch. The wood is softer so I recommend using place mats or a table cloth for heavy use. Or, just *pass* your potatoes instead of sliding them.

I have no real complaints here. I loved that it matched my chairs perfectly which I did not want to replace. I did freak out for a few days as the base of the table arrived a few days before the actually table but when I looked in my list of orders, it had it listed as being delivered even though I was well aware that it was arriving in 2 separate boxes. I just didn't expect it to arrive several days apart so be aware that that's possible if you order it. Other than that - I would definitely say this is a great deal and a well made item. Mine looks very nice.

arrived broken but didn't know it because we couldn't assemble until a month later. Surgery and other complications. Seller, OJ Commerce said too bad, even though the 30 days had not expired. They said check with East WestEast West wasn't too responsive since they are a reseller for China and said it was OJ's problem, but East West has a 6-month warranty that covers defective products, not wear and tear. If the products are damaged during transit, it will be the seller’s responsibility.This is the info that I sent: "We were not able to unpack and assemble the table until yesterday (2-5) because my wife had spinal surgery (1-9) and I have a mobility problem (87 yrs old). Two carpenter friends of ours started to assemble the table yesterday only to discover one side of the wooden movable track was broken. Consequently, the table will not close. Apparently, the tabletop carton was damaged in shipment...probably dropped although there was no apparent carton physical damage. We wonder if a replacement wood tract is available unless you have some other remedy in mind. I don't believe we need a replacement top as our carpenters are attempting to repair the damage. By the way, the table is perfect for application...very well made. Hoping to hear from you".East West still doesn't understand, all we wanted was a replacement part in case the repair failed, and we would pay for it.Two poor companies to deal with...very disappointed. Everyone passing the buck.

I have actually owned three of the tables from East West. With this expandable one I don't think I will need to change anymore. I am surprised how sturdy it is, and I think that is because of how well the table is built and because of the butterfly insert. I'm also very surprised and pleased with how big the pedestal of the table is.
