Gorgeous, luxurious silk underwear set
The only problem with these silk pajamas/long underwear is that I don’t want to put any other piece of clothing on my body other than them. They are heaven against the skin and make you feel as if you are wrapped in a cloud. They are also durable and have been through the wash with all the families clothes many times. I have two sets so I am never without them.

Something to keep me warm this winter. Planning ahead.
Soft as silk!!!! Beautiful color. Fits like a dream. Arrived so quickly, I could hardly believe it. Thanks.

Great base layer for very cold climates!
The fabric is very nice. These are "heavier" than my old Winter Silks (a company that went out of business some years ago), but they seem like they will be just as serviceable. They'll go with me to Iceland soon so that will tell the tale but I expect to be quite satisfied with them. As to complaints I've read about how they fit in the hips I'd say they are just roomy enough to be comfortable. These are underwear so no one is going to see them and they are the layer one wears next to the skin so no one will be the wiser if they don't fit skin-tight. They aren't a fashion statement, after all (chuckle).

Sizing issue with the Top/Bottom
Although I ordered a Medium size; the top portion is quite large - I wanted a set of silk long underwear to carry to Europe; using as pajamas and also another layer in case of cold temperatures when we travel; instead of a bulky item. I've used silk long underwear in backpacking and travel before and always found it to be a smart item to have. I thought I'd keep these; but I will most likely return because of the sizing issue. Quality of the materials seems fine.

Very nice
Not hot, I bought them to put on after I apply lotion. They are thin but it does the job. Look at the washing instructions, mine dried with a few hours after hand washing.

"Flechcolor" isn't peach any more?
Normally I buy black or beige in this type of base layer. The beige in this particular item is not a particularly nice beige, but sort of "off", so when another reviewer stated that the "flechcolor" (yes, that's how it was spelled) was a light peach, I thought "flechcolor" would a better choice, at least against my own natural skin tone. (Northern European, dark blue eyes and originally dark neutral blonde hair, BTW, so the reader can get the general idea.) In this case, the color is actually a very odd sort of yellow. I can wear most colors, even some "tropicals" but I found this yellow repellant for some reason. Not tropical, not cheerful, just a yellow that I really don't like. It was such an unhappy surprise at that price that I felt a rating of 3 stars was justified. And yes, I checked the yellow under more than one kind of lighting, including direct sunlight. I can only conclude that the manufacturer/dyer changed the color formula, as it did not resemble the color shown by the reviewer in any way. Changing the color without notice is dishonest in my book. Other than the color, please note that the base layer is generally very thin, but suitable for times when when the weather is changeable, as in the early spring and late fall. I'm a senior, and get easily chilled at this point in my life. I also buy heavier silks and base layers of other types for colder weather.

The Only first layer to own!
Worth the extra few dollars! It appears to be 100% silk which is excellent for the body and will be much better at keeping you warm.

Lightweight and comfortable
These are very lightweight, warm and very comfortable. They are the perfect base layer for cold weather because they fit nicely under my clothing. I highly recommend for those on adventures in colder climates or for elderly people that struggle with body temperature.
