The 'night sky' in your own home
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the BlissLights Sky Lite 2.0 - LED Star Projector for my partner as part of his Christmas gifts after spending 12 weeks in hospital. The BlissLights Sky Lite 2.0 - LED Star Projector emits a lovely image on our bedroom ceiling and is so relaxing to see in our peripheral vision whilst watching TV. The brightness of the projector has 3 settings and you are able to adjust it to see 'stars' or 'nebula' or a mixture of both. It's a shame that this version has only green 'stars' but there is another version which I think is around £10 difference (which I didn't see at the time) and shows blue or green 'stars'.The only downside to this, and it's only a minor gripe to me is that when using the app,it takes around a minute from opening the app to it to connect to the projector to use as a controller. Other than that, this BlissLights Sky Lite 2.0 - LED Star Projector is an amazing piece of kit.We are moving home next week so will be looking to expand on the range...if the manufacturer would like to offer some discount...it would be greatly appreciated 😉 as we'd be looking at strip LEDS and other lighting for the entire home (2 bed house)

Cool projector
This projector is a lot brighter than I thought it would be! The second picture is during the day in a room with a lot of natural light and you could still see the projection clearly. The customisation features are really cool too and I like that you can take the stars off and just have the nebula affect with just the green and blue for example. Having seen this all over social media, I really thought it would be quite gimmicky but it’s lovely in person. The app also allows you to set a shut off timer too if you are using it as a night light. The only drawback to this product is that it isn’t compatible with Alexa but you can still control it from the bliss light app so not a dealbreaker in my opinion. Great projector!

Best projector but few cons
This product I’ll go to the pros first it covers a huge area the blue stars look much more realistic than green. Looks stunning , You can control the brightness of the lazers and all colours unfortunately no purple though my favourite colour. Which I find strange as all projectors I’ve owned do purple no problem. But that aside it’s bright you can set it to very low brightness timer to and seems to be well made. However there is no remote and the app you have to control it with wants access to your photos and camera also photos on your phone Bluetooth and is very slow why is this? it’s a light yes a good one but why does the company need access to this on my phone it’s non of their business.I didn’t like this practice at all hence lost stars , I haven’t found this on any other projector at all.So my advise would be to block the app having access to this information as it doesn’t need it however it may stop you customising the patterns etc.I’d rather it come with a remote and app to be honest at this price. However the other projectors I’ve owned that were similar only has a life span of 8 months and then would break. And just stop working.I’m hoping that won’t be the case with this one.If you want it to look like the photos on the advert where both sides of the wall are covered with nebulas you would need two of them. Now as I said it does cover a huge area but to put two nebulas next to each other your would need two working in tan-don together for that effect.Besides that the quality of the lights are extremely good just wish there was more colours like other cheaper products out there or effects.Another thing I didn’t like was of you do customise the brightness etc you have to take a photo via your phone allow it access in order to save it why ? Makes absolutely no sense all I can think of if that it’s data mining something.Take that away add a few more effects and this would totally smash any competition so yes it is a very good product but limited however it still looks much better than others I have tried and is very relaxing makes no noise. You can also stop the rotation of the nebula and stars should you wish which ok added feature but not one I’ll use.Let’s hope a sky lite 3.0 takes all this in to consideration and adds the other colours missing as if it could be updated there is no reason it couldn’t do purple blending the red and blue together.Other than that so far so good do really like the product even though has some flaws it’s definitely the best projector I’ve seen and used at home being house bound disabled this adds a lovely ambiance to the room and love that I can change the brightness of all of it as I suffer with thunder clap migraines and pots disease so have to lay flat a lot so it’s nice to have this option and turn that brightness down to a level that is good without causing more of a headache.Again I’d recommend it but think the price is a little too high for what you get £30 maximum I would say add a few more effects and colours and then that would justify the price but you won’t get better especially with the blue stars looks much more realistic. So I would still recommend it over other cheaper projectors overall.

Don't know why people complain...
Looks great. The buttons make it easy to return on and off. The app offers more customisation. Makes the home cinema complete!People need to understand more about the app before kicking off about permissions. The photo permission is to allow you to create your own thumbnail pics for the DIY screen gallery.Bluetooth devices frequently use location permissions for smooth initial setup. You can manage the permissions on any Android phone message in the last 5 years or so.There is a timer in the app and the app connects quickly and is responsive.I genuinely can't understand why so many people criticise tech that they don't know how to use.Great product for the price point.

Not so smart
The star patten and colors are nice. Great for setting a chill mood. The app allows you to control the lights but it doesn't have any connectivity so you can't connect it to Alexa or Google. No routines. Honestly the app is purely a replacement for the remote.
