I have replaced all ZIPLOC bags!!!
These HOMELUX silicone reusable bags are wonderful. I can officially say that I have now replaced all my ziploc bags with these. They are great for fridge, freezer, snacks and car rides. These bags are a heavy duty version and are fantastic to store flat or expanded, a breeze to wash and keep clean. Be sure to dry them on a rack as to get all moisture out, to store them I roll the top clasp rod in the bag and place them in a drawer until I need them. A must have if you are revamping your kitchen with an upgrade that also helps our planet. You will feel good about this purchase, I know I do. Give them a try, you'll be surprised and then hooked. Sorry, NOT sorry. Enjoy!

Worth the cost for sure!
I recently bought first set of silicone baggies to replace the plastic baggies we normally use. Those were Cuisinart. It’s a brand I’m familiar with and they had pretty good reviews and product claims. I have, over time, really grown to hate them. They do not seal properly and tear easily. So I came back to Amazon to purchase another, better brand. I was hesitant because I didn’t want to waste my money again but these Homelux baggies are far superior to the Cusinart baggies.First- The thickness of the baggies is wonderful. They are worlds thicker than the Cuisinart baggies and seem so much more durable. The difference in the feel of the silicone is night and day and I wish you all could feel them through the screen. They are also much heavier due to the thicker silicone and I’m loving that as well. It makes me more confident that they won’t tear open easily during cleaning or if, inevitably, one of my kids drops them on the floor full of veggies or whatever.Second- The seal works so much better than the Cuisinart as well. The slider does take a little effort to get on and take off, but they seal very well and, the best part, my kids can open and close them without needing help. That was one of the first things I noticed in the Cuisinart baggies is how terrible the seal was. It became a struggle to no avail every time I tried to get them closed. We ended up resorting to bag clips on some simply because they wouldn’t close properly anymore- and this happened maybe after the third use. With the Homelux, I don’t think I’ll ever have that problem because the slider works perfectly at holding them closed.Third- They have markings that tell you how many cups/mls/oz are inside and I think some people will use that, although I don’t think I’ll ever need it. They also have a line marking the max fill which is really nice. This will help keep them from being overly filled and potentially not work properly.Fourth- They, so far, do not leak at all. I mean, at all. I have filled them with water to test, put the slider on, turned them upside down and shook the h*ll out of them, and nothing. Nada. I mean no water leaked out. There is no way I could’ve done that with the Cuisinart baggies. Just the thought of trying it with them makes me chuckle.Fifth- The presentation. The Cuisinart baggies came inside a thin plastic bag with no instructions or cleaning guidelines or anything. These Homelux were presented well inside of a branded box with instructions for how to use the baggies (mainly the slider), how to clean them, how to clean stains that may occur, and a message from the company thanking me for my purchase. My one issue is that the slider is made of plastic, which I am trying to eliminate, but I knew that before ordering and it’s still a step forward. It’s way better than using those disposable plastic baggies that just end up where they aren’t supposed to.I hope you can tell the huge difference between these Homelux and the Cuisinart silicone baggies from my photos. And if you find this review helpful, give me a mark. 😉

Easy to Use, Reusable and 100% Leak (and smell) Proof!!
These pouches are super easy to get open and closed. You need two hands, one to hold the bag and the other to slide the bar in one simple motion.Absolutely leak (and smell) proof!! We had cucumbers in one of these bags that we forgot about... they were partially liquefied when we noticed them in the back of the fridge- eww! Neither one of us wanted to touch it, or open in to dump into the compost bin. So it sat on our counter for a week while each of us waited for the other to deal with it. Laying on it's side, standing upright, falling into the sink and even once onto the floor - it never dripped, spilled and you couldn't smell a thing! Finally I got the courage up, opened it over the compost bin and dumped it. I poured it out directly into the bin and it didn't drip down the sides of the bag, or get on my hands at all.I use a round bottle-type brush to clean all our reusable food storage bags. Those brushes get into the corners and creases and scrub out the yuck. With this particular cucumber situation, I scrubbed it out and left it sitting open, filled with soapy water for a day. There was a little residue of stink, so it needed the hot soapy soak. Normally a thorough scrub and rinse is all it needs. They typically don't hold odors. I will then drape it upside down and open on the dish rack. Easy Peasy! It is awesome that these bags will stay in a standing position (just press the bottom of the bag down toward the counter and fill with whatever). I left that bag in the sink for a day, and it was still standing with the water in it when I went back to rinse it out. That eliminated any lingering odor.Great Product, Great Price

Hard to seal
These are hard to seal, but that’s the only downfall. Pretty durable and reliable.
