CeilingConnex Colorado Steel Rustic Corrugated Metal Wainscoting (5-Pack Galvalume)

I bought these metal panels for part of my main room "facelift" project. I have an old 1970s lake house with that horrible, dark, 1970s wall paneling all over it! That had to go! I'm using T&G cedar planks for the whole "cabin" look, but I wanted some contrast to all that wood, wood, wood. I chose this corrugated metal for the lower sections of some of the walls. This stuff is a tighter, cleaner corrugation than those big roofing panels you may be familiar with. It's rustic but still good looking. It comes packed in a seriously heavy-duty cardboard carton. I use a diamond metal cutting blade on my cordless circular saw to re-size panels if needed. It makes a pretty clean cut, but I always overlap side-by-side panels with the factory clean edge exposed, and top and corner trim hides any other edges on top. This way I never have to worry about having to smooth the rough edge. I also have a few electrical outlets to accommodate as well. This was simplified by using those adjustable depth junction boxes (available at Home Depot) and very carefully measuring and cutting the rectangular opening needed to clear the box. For this I marked the outline of the cutout, drilled a starter hole, and used a chassis nibbler tool to very precisely cut out the rectangle. Yes, that was a bit tedious, but it made for a very clean, nearly perfect cut out. The nibbler had no problem with the gauge of this steel panel or the corrugations, and it didn't add any stress or damage to the rest of the panel while using it. I'm not quite done with the work, but I've installed enough of this metal paneling to know I already like it. Looks good; easy to work with. Recommended!

When I decided to redo my kitchen I wanted something different. So I chose half metal walls. I tell you what this was so easy to install and is perfect for what I was looking for !

Renovating my bathroom and was apprehensive in cutting the corrugated steel. Actually used the recommended saw blade, leather gloves and eye protection. Easy Peasy! *** Grinding wheel was used to take off the burrs and sharp edges. Will definitely be using it on my next wainscoting job.👍🏻❤️

The media could not be loaded. I loved the idea of this easy to handle pre-cut steel. My partner didn't mind working with it, since no cutting was involved. It fit beautifully, and was so easy to handle. I have the industrial look I've been wanting and my bathroom isn't boring anymore. What a difference! This corrugated steel wainscoting is awesome!

What you really get looks nothing like the pictures on the website!! This was even after us cleaning them! Front and back both look horrible! AND I'm still waiting on two boxes that no one seems to know where they are. I'm so disappointed. I'm disappointed in the manufacturer and in Amazon.
