Signature Design by Ashley Piperton Contemporary Platform Headboard ONLY, Twin, Two-Tone Black

I got 2 of these head boards,an stack them together,when my friends see it ,they say WOW.

I had high hopes when I ordered this headboard. It’s a beautiful design and the front is definitely wood BUT the back of the headboard is glued to particle wood. Very cheap and not sturdy to safely attach the legs. I had to send it back.

The headboard is gorgeous. It feels very solid. The only problem was assembly. I was expecting pre-drilled holes for attaching the legs and it took me ages to see the very faint indents where you are supposed to screw the legs to the back of the headboard. Probably should've drilled the holes at that point, but I don't have a drill so I just muscled the screws in. Wasn't overly difficult being pressboard and all, but it was still a bit tiring after a few screws. There was a tiny damaged corner, but it was the bottom back side of the headboard that no one will see.Overall very happy with it now that the assembly/attachment process is done.

This is exactly what I wanted but it was very very heavy for me to get to my apartment with no help. Assembly was easy but too heavy for me to attach to my bed alone. Well worth every cent I spent on it thou. Still up against the wall till I can get some help.

It’s is cute and all, but it came damaged and I paid for New and it looked Used. Didn’t come with bolts to connect to bed frame, was missing instructions, and also missing some screws.

My daughter wanted to redo her room and wanted a wooden headboard…while this was pretty expensive and not on sale(something I never do…pay full price) we went for it.Was it worth the money…:my daughter loves it so yes.It’s heavy and you will need two people to put it together. I purchased the bed frame that goes with it you can read my review on that….. all and all it turned out good.

The design and color are exactly what I was looking for. Only downside was that it did not include the screw hardware to attach to the bed frame.

Though this headboard was delivered quickly and assembly was completed in minutes, the headboard looks cheap. It is literally the cheap vinyl on top of plywood (got a splinter when I ran my fingers across). Lastly, when it was put together, the middle part was bowing out because there was no support in the middle at all. Ended up returning the very same day.
