Works perfectly -- and with ZERO air leakage
I'm surprised at how well this works, especially given its cheap price. I've ordered two of them, and they both completely turn off when off. There is no leakage whatsoever from the on/off valve. I used a little bit of "T plus 2" thread sealant on the 8mm hose junctions (not sure if it was really necessary) but am happy to report that the input and output quick-connect junctions are also completely leak free.I have the rest of my air system (using 8mm tubing and about a dozen of the quick-connect junctions) also completely leak-free, which means that I can leave my compressor turned on and not have to worry about it "leaking down" through the night and turning itself on to re-pressurize. In fact I can leave it for weeks at a time without any leakage.Anyway, I'm very happy with the quality and effectiveness of these foot pedals, and would definitely order another if needed.

Works as intended.. with some air connection adjustments
If you are looking to use this switch with multiple pieces of air equipment , you will need to make some adjustments as the inlet/outlet ports are close together, If this switch is being used for one piece of equipment it should be plumbed as expected for this style of switch. A couple swivel adapters and all is good to make it a "portable" unit. I wanted this for a DIY hand held planishing hammer, and with the air adjustable swivel it works perfect and mobile.

in/out ports are too close togther to use as they sit (if using QD's)
In/out ports are way too close together if you're going to use QD's on them. I want to be able to use this for more than just one item, so I installed QD's on it. I had to use an elbow on the 'in' port in order to get the spacing needed to connect to those. Without the elbow, there's NO way you'll be able to use the QD's.Markings for the 'in' and 'out' ports are mostly hidden by the metal body. Would have been MUCH better if the marks were ABOVE the ports, not under them.Performed a function test on the valve once QD's were attache and it works as it should. Won't know how it holds up over time until I give it more use. Right now I plan to use this on an air assisted bottle jack (20 ton) that will be the main part of a forge press.

Great price! No instructions...
The operation of this device is fine, and the cost was great. However there wasnt even a basic set of intructions. I requested something, anything to show proper hookup from the Seller. They could not provide any. I have history working on sandblast cabinets so it wasnt that hard, but others might have issues. A simple IOE stamped on ea port would suffice.

Great product for the price
The air switch is compact and ergonomically functional. It is very economically priced and the service was super.

it works
it is an air valve. push it down, air goes through, let it up, air stops.

Great valve if you want a gentle breeze
Purchased for a media blast cabinet. After hooking air lines up and testing, I discovered the volume of air dispensed through the valve is sorely lacking. As I see someone else has stated, the ports may be 1/4", but the orifices are tiny.Already packaged and ready to go back to whence it came.

Seems well built.
I had to pick up some adapters that would let me attach this to aquarium airline tubing, but I use this switch to selectively actuate or restrict the flow of air through a vacuum system for a manual pick-and-place machine. It handles being stepped on by a big guy with large feet so, as long as your fittings are correct and you're not exceeding pressure limits or anything, it should do just fine for any pneumatic or vacuum application.
