Great driving experience
Paired with the Playstation 5 and the Logitech racing wheel this is a great improvement over the previous versions of this game, the driving experience and realism is amazing and well worth it when on offer.

Absolutely Epic But Disc Installation Time Is Ridiculous
Title sums it up. Graphically and the engine sounds and handling are truly incredible, the sheer detail of all the cars is something to behold. Full career mode where you customise and tune cars is back with a Big Bang. It’s classic Gran Tourismo but even better. The cons are that the installation of the disc game is ludicrously long. I have high speed fibre and it took 7 hours all in all, I’ve read on the internet that there’s a bug causing it to be overly slow so I expect that to be fixed.Another negative is the lack of latest car models (or ones within the last 2 years) which is disappointing but these are expected to come as a future update. It really is a brilliant game though. For those who haven’t played Gran Tourismo before please be aware it’s a racing sim not and arcade racer so needs practice to get good at but when you do it delivers the best driving game of all time. The depth of the game is huge with all the tuning and used car markets. Ignore the micro transaction options and you’ll enjoy it so much more. The dynamic weather and time of day is also incredible. It’s absolutely brilliant but has a couple of frustrations mainly the long installation time.

The best sim racer vs the worst microtransaction service in racing games
This is a fantastic game. One of the best sim races on the market. However GT7 has one of the most infuriating microtranaction systems I have encountered. If you have a million hours of spare time you won't have a problem getting all the way to best cars. However, if like a normal person you work a plus 40 hour week your going to find that paying your upto the best cars is the only way you will get to the very best vehicles. Unless your willing to wait a year or two to get there on the in game system. You need credits to pay for car upgrades. And they are ridiculously expensive. I'm on level 20 cafe mode to get to the next level I need to upgrade my Porcshe 911 because it is to slow. In order to do this I'm going to have to do X amount of other events to earn the money to complete this Porsche event. In theory it sounds fair, but the drawback being that other events only give a small payout in comparison to the upgrades you need. Hence, the quicker option is to purchase in game credits to either buy the parts you need or buy another car altogether to win the series you are currently on.It's a maddening system that tries to lull you into spending more money on a game that already cost 70 pounds. It's made even more maddening because the credits don't cost much. But that's not the point, you've already paid for your game why should you be paying more. Its almost like a punishment for enjoying the single players mode.A fantastic game hampered by very coy micro transactions

Amazing racing sim
Firstly I can't believe how many people are giving this 1 star just because they don't have the patience to wait to download or watch an intro. It's crazy to rate a game before you actually play it! Granted it took me about a day and a half for a 90gb update as I can't get fibre but it was worth the wait. Parts of the game unlock as you go along so it's not all available but it doesn't take too long. I've been playing for about 2 hours a day for about 5 days and just unlocked what I believe is the last area on the map. The racing itself is amazing and you do have to concentrate as there's no kids reverse button like on Forza if you mess up!! Love the license and mission challenges. Their tricky to get the gold but good fun to beat your mates times. You do get given loads of cars throughout the game for winning challenges and races but alot still need to be bought and they do cost alot of credits. Haven't tried the online yet but it does look good and people get bad ratings if they constantly push people off track so really it should be decent racing!

Can’t see what all the negativity is about
This game is brilliant, from the outset video intro which gives you some history into the auto world. Then to find the good old second hand car sales centre to buy your first car.Coming from a series x with horizon 5 I find this game a breath of fresh air that the car racing genre needed. Good graphics, awesome car hadling physics. It just has it all. Forza horizon 5 just feels bland in comparison, ie being a polished version of 4 with a new map.The level of detail in the game is second toNone and makes me glad that I made the move over to ps from Xbox and solely for this game. Have been a massive gran turismo fan from day one and this really has filled the gap for a brilliant car game on ps.All the negativity you really have to stick with this game and plough the hours in. It is a fresh starting block also and will only get better over timeWell done polyphony digital you have excelled yourselves
