Excellent! Cats drink so much more water now!
In a nutshell, this fountain is:•Well Made, Great Quality•Nearly Silent Motor•Aesthetically Pleasing•Easy To Clean•Encourages Pets To Drink MUCH MoreWater, Which Benefits Their Overall Healthand Well-BeingWe purchased this in May of 2021 and so far have had no mechanical problems or other issues at all.*🤜🪵*It is a well made, quality pet water fountain. The motor is nearly silent and the light inside of the blue plastic bowl not only enables the cats to see it better so they may more easily drink at night, but it also creates a rather pretty & relaxing night light. Also, if the water level gets too low, the light will begin blinking red to alert you to fill it, as it can be damaging to the motor for water level to remain too low.In addition to the fact that one of our two cats was always either using his paw to splash all of their water all over the floor, or else just knocking the entire thing over (brat!), we had also begun to notice that the litter box smelled *super* strong of ammonia from their urine. So in addition to mopping up large puddles of water every day, their urine smelling SO strongly of ammonia was worrisome and seemed an indication that they weren't drinking nearly enough water.Concerned that they may develop kidney stones or some other medical problem, we thought that perhaps a pet water fountain would be a good idea.I am SO happy that we invested in this fountain! Not only is the brat cat unable to knock it over, (and no longer splashes water all over the floor, either), but the filter and constant movement of the water keeps the water much fresher and is much more appealing to both kitties.Since purchasing this, both cats drink a TON more water, which I can tell has made them feel happier & healthier. That awful ammonia stink in the litter box is completely gone, as well! They both absolutely love this fountain and we are so happy that we bought this. The tiny motor is comprised of 4 pieces which come apart to enable a more thorough cleaning, which is made easier due to the 2 different sized cleaning brushes that come with the fountain. The rubber mat provided with this fountain is also a nice bonus, as it does help to protect the floor, catching any drips or accidental splashes.**My one recommendation for this fountain is to purchase the name brand filters from the Wonder Creatures company that makes the fountain.I know how tempting it is to purchase generic filters, getting more filters for less money, but I'd caution against it.We made the mistake of buying generic filters, but as you can see in the photos, the generic versions have such a gigantic center hole, that almost nothing is filtered and kept out of the water.Although I plan on writing a separate review for those generic filters, it seemed important to mention the issue here within this review for the actual pet fountain. The Wonder Creatures filters that came with the fountain did a marvelous job of stopping nearly all cat hair, kibble crumbs and other contaminates from getting into the water, whereas the generic filters, due to that huge, gaping center hole, let nearly everything pass through and into their drinking water. It's gross to have your beloved pets drinking water containing bits of old food (which can breed bacteria in the water), but the pet hair that also bypasses the generic filter coats & clogs the sponge filter which sits in front of the motor. That sponge filter is there to prevent anything from being sucked into the motor, which could either ruin it or, at the very least, shorten its lifespan. But in addition to the fact that the water ends up with bits of food and pretty much anything that floats around in the air (hair, dust, and even flying insects!), rather than being stopped by the filter, it all washes right through that big center hole and into your pet's water supply. Yuck. And if the sponge filter becomes covered in pet hair, the drinking water has a harder time passing through the sponge, then through the motor to be routed to the actual fountain on top.So the bottom line is that the water does not stay fresh, clean and free from contaminates & bacteria growth due to all those contaminates easily getting through that generic filter, which also makes it harder for the motor to function properly.Savings don't mean much if the item doesn't perform as required. We did also purchase the generic sponge filters at the same time as the generic water filters, and as far as those are concerned, saw no difference. So I'd say you CAN get away with buying generic sponge filters, but definitely not the water filters.I think that just about covers everything! If you are considering buying this pet fountain, we wholeheartedly recommend it! It's fantastic!⭐️And if you found the information in this review helpful, taking a second to click the "helpful" button would be sincerely appreciated! 😃

Perfect fountain
I have 6 cats, and used to rely on a gravity waterer for them. They were constantly begging me to turn on the tub so they could drink fresh water right from the tap. I was looking for something to give them that option of flowing water to drink out of, but was having a hard time finding a fountain that combined stainless steel with a large reservoir, that also looked nice and had a decent flow of water, not just bubbling effect. Finally I found this fountain and it is perfect in every way I needed it to be.They absolutely love it and haven't begged me to turn on the tap since I've gotten it. They don't bother with the gravity waterer anymore, either, so I'll probably just replace that with a second one of these. Some of my cats are incredibly picky so that says a lot that they're so infatuated with this fountain. Even my biggest scaredy cat had no issues starting to use this fountain (and he was just hissing at his reflection in the side of the gravity waterer, sooooo......yeah).I also like that they can still access the pooled water if they dont want to drink the stream, and I love that the stainless makes it easy to clean. Then there's the fact that it holds 3L so I don't have to constantly refill it every day, because that lasts them quite a while, even considering the fact that a few are larger breeds (Maine coon). The blue light is subtle yet bright enough to be a night light to show the cats where the water is. It is also very quiet, I can't hear the motor running and there's no sound of water dripping or splashing. The assembly was super easy, it all fits together nice and neat and can be put together in a matter of seconds. Within five minutes of having it out of the box, I had it put together, filled up, and my cats were lined up to check it out. Also, the customer service is excellent if you need it; if you have any questions about cleaning/maintaining the fountain/pump and replacing the filters just send them a message and they'll get right back to you with instructions!

Best fountain we have had.
My wife and I have bought fountains for our cats for over 20 years now, and I honestly have to say that this is the best one yet. We have a 7 month old kitten named Mouse, who absolutely loves it and a 3 year old Ragdoll who doesn't seem to impressed with it. You have 3 different ways to customize the flow, Mouse likes the flower with the yellow center removed, so the water bubbles from the top and flows over the petals. The instructions don't tell you how to remove the yellow center, it just unscrews. The pump is very quiet and you have to listen hard to hear it. It has an LED light that lights up the 3/4 of a gallon tank so you can see the water level during the day or night, and makes a good night light. The stainless steel top is attractive, and the entire fountain is very easy to take apart and clean. I have spent as much as $40 in the past for water fountains for our cats, that were not as nice looking and easy to clean as this one for only $16. After examining and using this one for over a week, not only do I highly recommend it, I would suggest also buying extra filters. They come in a box of 6 along with 6 sponge filters to keep hair and other debris out of the pump for only $10.
