love my chickpeas!
These packs are a great deal. I buy the chickpea curry. They're about two dollars each...so think of that for a dinner, not bad!At opening, the contents are pretty watery, so that's initially disappointing and it seems to be a serving for only one person (as a main dish). Flavorful but not hot.I put the contents in a saucepan and add one or two 8 oz. cans of beans along with more curry powder and cumin and a tiny bit of water and simmer for about 20 minutes. It becomes a quick, filling dinner for two people. Cooked frozen cauliflower would also be a good, low carb addition.

Delicious mild keto-friendly chili
I was so happy to find a keto-friendly chili. I am one of those odd people who really loves beans, and they are one of my most-missed foods. This has given me a tasty option to enjoy beans when I miss them while still fitting into my macros, and it really helps that it is a quick meal too. I am a wimp when it comes to heat, and this is nice and mild for me. If you prefer it spicy, you will need to add something to up the heat

It can be used for backpacking and camping!
I am going camping soon and my only means of cooking will be boiling water on my propane stove. Before I headed out, I was curious how well these pouches worked in boiling water. And the conclusion is pretty great!I bought the Indian Coconut Curry flavor since it was the cheapest. Since this was merely a test, I didn't want to buy another flavor that's more expensive. On the packet, the Stovetop directions indicate the pouch can be placed unopened in boiling water for five minutes.I put a pot of (relatively small amount of) water on the stovetop to boil. Once it was rolling, I placed the unopened pouch inside and set the timer for five minutes. When it was done, I noticed that the top of the pouch wasn't too hot at all so was able to lift it out with my fingers. Once opened, I noticed the pouch contents weren't "hot" but it wasn't cold either. More like lukewarm, but definitely acceptable to eat right there if I was actually camping. But since I was at home, I wanted to see how much warmer the food could get so I placed the pouch back into the boiling water, and "sealed" the pouch by rolling the top and "locking" it with a binder clip. A few minutes later, I opened it back and it got a little bit warmer but not super hot. It was fine.I emptied the contents into a bowl and it tastes pretty good! A little bit soupy but totally ok for my purposes since it would be mixed with instant rice.I would say these pouches are good to go!As far as the flavor, I thought it was mildy spicy with a hint of sweetness. Not a bad taste. I am opting for other flavors since the salt content of the entire pouch is higher than a few of the other variants, but the Protein content is the same.

Healthy and Tasty
The Good Bean Heat & Eat Coconut Curry Chickpeas is so hard to find in any stores here locally so I was very happy to be able to buy the product from Amazon. The price was a bit more than I was use to in the past, but for the convenience and taste I couldn't refuse. The ease at which you can make this Coconut Curry Chickpea food is so simple, and it works great as either a main dish for lunch or even a side item for dinner. The health quality of this brand is on point, there is no sacrifice of taste to be nutritious or affordable to vegans or people watching what they eat. I really would recommend this product to anyone looking for a taste of Indian cuisine that's easy to make and delicious.

5 star product, 1 star price
I fell absolutely in love with this product when I discovered it. All of the flavours are great and shockingly healthy. However, the Low-Carb Classic Chili has taken a sad turn.I was a frequent, repeat purchaser of this one and it was a staple in my pantry and meal rotation. When I was purchasing it regularly, the price was $11.92 for the 4-pack ($2.98 per pouch), which is a phenomenal price! However, the price has now skyrocketed to $24.98 - a difference of $13.06, bringing the cost to $6.25 per pouch!Unfortunately, will not be purchasing it anymore, as this price hike is insane and unaffordable.

Tasty Perfectly Spicy -
I had to laugh at the review, “taste like medicine” LOL! I know food taste is somewhat subjective but this delightful low carb chili tastes amazing. There is not 1 iota of medicinal taste or smell. This product to me tastes just like chili. Perfectly spiced and not ‘hot’ at all, plenty of cumin and chili powder. I used 1 bag tonight (2 servings) in a keto friendly carnitas bowl with kaizen rice, lettuce, cheese, avocado and olives….so yummy!! Next time, I will add ground beef, pork or chicken with plenty of shredded cheese for a comfort food easy dinner.I purchased this pack at Amazon but my local grocery store carries it as well. There is NOT a price break for buying the 4 pack through Amazon, so if your store sells it cheaper…get it there. Keto products are costly enough.
