Yes the cord should be in the box the camra came in,it's a Stade rd USB cabf,etc

My Canon PowerShot A470 has given up after 7 great years! Trying to decide if a newer model is as good, like the Elph or A2500 - anyone tried these?

The A2500 is pretty great! My friend and my sister both have it and they love it! It actually has a lot of features/modes if you search through the camera. At first glance, it doesn't look like it can do much, but there are so many cool settings and functions--a lot like my canon powershot A470

Well that's about as subjective a question as I've ever seen. Is it a toy? No. Is it a great digital camera by today's standards? Not really. It's ok. It's also a little on the bulky side in my opinion.For the current price? I'd look for something else. I've had very good experiences with the 2 Nikon point-and-shoot cameras I've owned. Especially the Coolpix 5900 digital one. Hands down best macro I've ever used. And there you have it. My opinion. Hope this helps.
