Bought this to go with a used set we got for my son for Christmas. It came shipped in a plastic bag so it already has some scratches from the journey. I can’t put the mallet onto the foot pedal unit because I don’t have a drum key to loosen the bolts. There also aren’t any instructions to help newbies.

Wanted a portable pedal for playing on my cajon. Thought I could get by with this pedal because I was not expecting to play hard or play lots of notes.This pedal falls apart, make sure to tighten all of the bolts, but they are all a different size... and the beater shaft size is too small to swap it with another beater.
