Does a good the job of helping the back of my neck and in between my shoulder blades from heavy lifting. The weight of it helps it stay in place especially when walking around. I’m only using the cooling aspect so far it gets nice and cold but only stays cold for less than 20 minutes.Soft outer fabric is nice and soft but closure is a little hard to use especially with arthritis.

I sit too much and suffer from neck soreness. This ice pack is so soothing when my muscles are irritated. It provides a nice amount of weight without being too heavy and stays cold for 20 mins or so. I haven't used the heating function as yet because it wasn't what I needed.This collar helps me feel comfortable and at ease.Love the colour, love the texture of the cloth cover and use this ice pack at least every other day.Good price, excellent product!

I broke my neck over 30 years ago and frequently have tight neck and shoulders. This product worked well and quickly makes my muscles relax. Love it.

So I have a knot on the back of my neck that has been there for years due to the computer nature of my job. I have tried heating pads that just don't exactly fit. Plus, trying to use a heating pad at work when I am constantly getting up and down makes it difficult. I was wanting something that I can wear without being wired to a plug and wouldn't look too bad since I would be at work. I found this product in my search online and decided I would give it a try. I got it one evening when I got home from work and decided to try it at work the next day. I got to work, unboxed it, took it to the microwave and heated it up. Put it on and WOW. I knew it was a wet heat, but I was very surprised by how much and the heat felt amazing. I would think that if I didn't have a shirt on, the heat may have been too much directly on my skin, but with a shirt on it was perfect. The heat from this thing was so great and it helped with the stress in my neck and lasted about an hour before I heated it back up. What I enjoyed the most was that I could move around the office and this stayed in place and it didn't look unprofessional. That day, I placed an order for another one that I can put in the freezer since I suffer from migraines. The second I one ordered was received 3 days ago and I used that one last night when I felt a migraine coming on. I pulled out my ice hat and this thing. Put them on and laid down and the cold was amazing. Exactly what I was hoping for and the migraine that was trying to form never got a chance.With all of the above positive things, I do have one negative. I am still on the fence on whether this negative is major or minor and I guess it will depend on whether I can find a solution for it or not. The negative is the closure. Like I mentioned above, I have a knot on the back of my neck and this item has a flap that is designed to cover the neck. However, because the closure is just a ball that you put into a loop, it lacks the ability to really secure the wrap around your neck. The back part that comes up to cover your neck will not actually stay flush against your neck, it falls back due to the looseness of the neck area. It would be better if there was an adjustable closure feature on the item that would allow for the consumer to adjust how tight they want it. When I get up to move around, the wrap will fall back a little and although I can still feel the heat, its not as effective as it would be if it were flush with my neck. I have to move it forward to get that contact again when I sit down. My temporary solution is to use a binder clip on the top portion, but the top of the clip is uncomfortable on my skin and it looks trashy. I am searching for a possible solution of adding velcro to the closure area to allow for more of a controlled closure. This is really my only complaint and why I couldn't give it 5 stars. Also the white tag on the product is very noticeable and difficult to hide, so I just cut it off without hitting the fabric. Made it look neater that way. I will say that both the cold and heat will last about an hour which I personally think is reasonable for something that isn't plugged in. I read some other reviews that gave bad marks for the heat/cold lasting an hour but I think expecting more than that is not a realistic expectation. I will provide an update if I find a solution to this issue.Update 01/25/23: So I searched and found some Velcro that was meant for fabric. Took me a few tries to figure out where it was most effective and figured out the higher the better. I have attached photos that shows where I placed the Velcro and then one picture where it was on and you can see how much more the wrap is held in place with the Velcro. I was concerned that the Velcro may come off in the microwave, but after a week of heating this thing over and over, the Velcro is holding strong. So I found a fix that isn't perfect but is better than nothing. I am using this wrap regularly though out the day and I'm really happy that I bought it. I haven't adjusted my star rating because I really think the closure issue should be fixed by the manufacture so consumers don't have to make modifications afterwards.

Just received this ice wrap and used the first time. I've used other brands of wraps. Love that the collar comes fully up the back of the neck to the base of the skull; except that you have to fasten it much closer around the neck than is made to get the collar to lay against the back of the neck and/or not slide down the shoulders. When you pull the collar closer to the neck, it significantly shortens the length of wrap on the upper back, which was borderline too short to begin with. The fabric is lovely and comfortable. I love that it's weighted. It really does make a difference in the wrap's ability to press cold into your body parts. The weighted filling, however, is just like one of those bean/sand type things that you can throw in your microwave and wrap around your neck, and consequently it doesn't hold heat or cold for any meaningful length of time. After being in my freezer since yesterday, the effective level of cold for therapy of any kind lasted maybe 10-15 minutes, but it was a good penetrating cold during that time. At 30 minutes it didn't even qualify as cool. So that's a bummer. I may try it one more time before returning it, but that's my inclination at the moment. My favorite type of wrap is the Elasto-gel type wraps. They're flexible and heavy and hold a penetrating cold for a good half hour or more. But they're pricey and the gel falls apart after awhile. I was hoping to find something like this wrap, but longer down the back and colder for longer.

This arrived timely, wasn't damaged! This isn't too heavy nor too light... perfect weight to relieve tension in shoulders! Fit great has a button to fasten to prevent slippage. The warmth is nice, but also works without heat...just the weight!

This can be heated easily in the microwave and provides moist heat. It has helped me greatly with stiff shoulders and neck pain.
