Worked better tan I expected on my Cigar Box Guitar
Everyone who has used Piezos is familiar with the quaky, shrill tone that is unavoidable, s had low expectations and high hopes when I got pulled in by the low price of these. I placed these right under the saddle in the lid of the box and the sound is really loud, clear, and when I buried the tone knob on the amp it sounds awesome. Using this through a little battery powered "Honeytone" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000B6DHB2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 sounds, well, pretty good, but through my Roland Mini Cube it is fantastic. It gets only even better thru real gear. Buy these things!!!!

Great pickups!
I got these because I needed something with more than 2 pickups and had longer wires for spacing in a harp soundbox. The sound is great and I’m really happy with this. I don’t need a pre-amp going into my pedal, either. The ONLY criticism I have is that there were no instructions with it. They were just “going commando” in a baggie…and having not ever worked with pickups before, some instructions would have been nice…like what’s the block and zip tie for? Still very happy with purchase!

Sounds good for the price. Large sensors do not fit under bridge. Sticky pads are not very sticky.
So for the price they are awesome. Will get some more and put in my classical guitar if I can't find any that are smaller. Seems the smaller they are the more expensive they get. There are three of them, and you are lucky if you can fit one of them under your bridge with bridge pins in place. I placed the other two under the sound board, one on the treble side in between the sound hole and the bridge where the most vibration is, and the second directly adjacent to the bass side. I readjusted the bass one a little further out because the bass was being picked up a lot more than the treble. I would have left it in the original spot, but all three of them fell off because the stickies don't stick very well to the raw wood inside the guitar. I even cleaned where I was going to place them with rubbing alcohol prior to sticking them. I ended up superglueing them instead and they sound great. Drilling was easy, pretty self explanatory. There wasn't much out there about placement solutions when you can't put all three under the bridge...so do as I did and you will get a very nice sound. Wear gloves when super glueing...I had some drip issues and I ended up glueing my finger to the sensor and the sensor to the soundboard. I had my hand stuck in the guitar for about an hour trying to slowly tear the pad of my finger from the sensor because I didn't want to shred the bottom of my soundboard. Another good solution is to water your super glue down with vineager or lemon juice. They use a paper towel to wipe a baking soda and water solution on the site you want to adhere it to. Super glue is diluted in acid and will not solidify until it reaches a neutral or alkaline PH. So if it drips on your hands it won't solidify right away and then you won't have to hold it in place forever because the solution you wiped to site you place it at instantly activates and bonds it to the site. But seriously...wear gloves. WILL BUY AGAIN
