Ok, pause, my friend. I read a LOT of reviews about this product and this specific brand. I ended up going with Weyland because of very specific reasons that people put in their reviews. Such as this brand had the least amount of side effects, such as irregular heart beats, and in general had way more positive feedback, to the point that it was sounding significantly better than other brands. And while a person shopping for this specific nutrient is probably familiar with why they are looking into buying it already so I’m not going to go into the whole “carbonate vs orotate” form of lithium, just noting that this particular brand seems to be the most effective from what I read. And now here’s my experience.I read the reviews of people “dancing with their pets”, “feeling happy”, “a total game changer”.. and as a jaded life-long depressed person I was like, bet. I’ll take this and be wanting to get out of bed, and I’ll call it a good value.What I didn’t expect was no longer wanting to unalive myself 3 days into the experiment. As in, I didn’t expect going online and buying anti-aging products and pretty jewelry and groceries I wanted to make to have fun meals because I no longer wanted to live out my life in misery. I actually started to WANT to live. On purpose. I wanted to start a few more hobbies. I wanted to get up from the bed and go out and do things. I wanted and did dance. This is unprecedented and I’ve been basically suicidal and miserable for as long as I remember. I didn’t know what happy was.This works, this is the “on” button I’ve been waiting for all my life. I no longer just go through the motions just waiting to get back into bed. It’s unfknreal. I repeat. Unfknreal. Play with the dose, watch your kidneys, it works, it works fast, and I would never leave a review like this if it didn’t pull me out of my proverbial coffin. I am being treated for late disseminated neuronborreliosis (Lyme disease that has spread and infected my brain) and began experiencing the worst depression of my life - it was actually WORSE than depression, the only way to truly describe it is "anhedonia," I didn't want to to ANYTHING, despite having the energy and motivation to do SOMETHING.. the thought of even my favorite activities was almost repulsing! Each capsule was equally full, there was no powder loose inside the bottle or on the capsules, and the gel caps have no taste at all! After one month of these, I can definitely say they have made a huge difference in my mood and outlook, even with extremely powerful IV antibiotics running around in my body. I can tell a difference in myself on the days I don't take them, so I try to remember to every night. I began taking two caps twice a day, morning and bedtime, because my mood was so strong. As it eased, in a few days I began just taking the two at bedtime, and the beneficial effects were maintained. I have not noticed any side effects while taking this supplement.Please note that this is NOT the same thing as the PRESCRIPTION DRUG Lithium Carbonate; the words on the end refer to different 'salts' of the molecule and are completely separate substances. If you are prescribed Lithium Carbonate and take this supplement, you will NOT experience the relief your doctor intended. I bought and now have been taking this because of all the high reviews on it here at Amazon. So, thank you, everyone, for taking the time to write.I feel an absolute all around feeling of wellness of my mood. It has been steadily the same every day since I began this. I am so pleased with it. Usually, I never knew how I would feel each day when I wake up. But this has given me a feeling of purpose and usefulness and when you are disabled as I am, that can be a tough thing to accomplish.I am still taking meds. with it which it says not to do but I think they have to cover their sense of liability for people taking this product. From what I have read on the research of Lithium Orotate it is a trace mineral we all need. I have read all good about it and I will continue to take it. I do have to go into the clinic and have my INR (International Ratio) test done tomorrow to be sure this is not affecting my warfarin in any way. May need a dosage adjustment. I've had some blood come from my nose today but that has happened when my INR was fine. But I must be sure it isn't too high so I don't bleed internally and not too low so I do not get Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or Pulmonary Embolisms (PE), which can snuff your life out instantly. I've had this twice so I am a lifer for warfarin. Someday I may switch to the newer meds but not now.But anyway, this supplement I would recommend to anyone but I would first tell them of the warning on the bottle. I'm hoping I can get off meds.This is one of the products out there in all genres that really does make a huge good difference!! It's a 5 + star winner.
