This unit is small, gives fast accurate readings. It does not work well in dark surrounding's.IT meets my needs well, shooting and hunting. Cannot be beat for the price.

I bought this over a year ago for archery ranging and it was perfect. I used a tape measure and measured out exactly 25 yards and then tested out the range finder and it was accurate to basically 0.1 yard. Very easy to use and the case it comes with it is great too.Come next year and next hunting season and I went searching for this but I couldn't find it anywhere around the house. I gave up and ordered the same one again. Again it's perfect and does the job perfectly.I went outside the other day and somehow found it buried under some leaves by a tree. It had been sitting there for almost a year, exposed to the elements. It was covered in dirt and cobwebs and the case was musty and pungent. I pressed the power button and, unbelievably, it turned right on and gave me an accurate range. Anyways now I have 2 of these and I likely won't ever have to buy one again!

Measured distances with a tape and the rangefinder is dead on. Glass is clear and the eye piece is easy to adjust but doesn't move on its own like some cheap optics. Display is also clear and easy to read. TideWe did an excellent job with this one. Are there better rangefinders out there? Yes but they cost at least double. Also the pouch it comes with is nice and the rangefinder is easy to get in and out of the pouch and it has a loop on the back for easy installation on a chest rig.

Great little unit. I used this to measure out sporting fields. It's small, which is good for transporting, but it can be finicky in terms of aiming it, as it's short. I did think of taping it to a 30cm ruler to help have something longer to hold and stabilize it. That said, it does its job and is accurate when you aim at things with even small targets, such as the poles of soccer goals. You just need a steady hand! :)It doesn't have any issues with the angle at which the 'target' will reflect, which surprised me.Does what it says. Small and compact which is great for transport/storage. Well priced.

It does exactly what it claims to do, very quickly and reliably, and distance really *is* about 1000 yards, as claimed, unlike other laser range finders that I have used. It also has an excellent design feature: I often use this to measure a point when hiking, then use the trig function to calculate the y-axis distance (i.e., how high the point is above/below me)... but *this* range finder calculates this value automatically, which is very nice!Also, battery life is excellent; I've been carrying it around in my pack for months, and have only had to charge it once - and I can charge it from the extended battery that I carry in my pack. Overall, simply an excellent device!

This is a very good rangefinder at this price. I did receive a defective unit but I contacted the manufacturer and their customer service team was very helpful. The original unit had an error of around 10%. The new one is right on. I was hoping there was a calibration procedure but replacement was the only option. I chose this one over others because of the slope measurement. That should be useful from a tree stand. I'm hoping to make it to a TAC event where that will be helpful as well. The 2 button interface is simple and intuitive. The power button also activates the range finder. The second button changes the modes.

Works great I use it for ranging during archery practice.

Just got it and I'm very happy. Simple controls, compact size, and the readout is nice and clear. I tested it on my archery range with marked distances and it was spot on. Definitely worth every penny
