Our 4 year old was very excited to check in on his tank to see how big his fish were getting. The seal on the top is secure enough for him to run around the house without leaking. He keeps it on his nightstand like a real (maintenance free) fish tank. Good purchase!!

I bought as gifts for nieces and nephews and it was fun.

Took a full 3 days but pretty cool. Dont expect to grow in hours. Super small.

This was the perfect little surprise gift for my son. He LOVES fishies. When we opened this, right on the packaging it says "starts growing in 1 hour" however this was false. We waited and hour, nothing. Waited 3hrs still nothing. Nothing happened after 6hrs. Nothing happened after two days. My son was SO disappointed he wanted to throw it away. We didn't think it worked. After reading some other reviews I came to find people having the same issue. This takes DAYS to grow. We are on day 6 and finally they are getting bigger. It was definitely a waste of money. Cute idea. But total waste. A 4yr old doesn't want to sit for days waiting for his fish to grow. Bummer.

The fish did grow, but it took several days, not several hours.

Reminds me of being a kid, as I used to have these. :) I would fall asleep holding it.

Granddaughters loved watching fish grow. The only thing they disliked was the water was slow to drain

This started out a little slow but the fish grew and grew. They don’t get huge but multiply in size quite a bit Fun for all
