I use these in my greenhouse for starting seeds and supplemental light for young plants. You need to keep them relatively close (less than a foot) above the flats, but they're not hot because they're LEDs. A friend got a set and uses them inside his covered raised beds (we don't get much sun here in the winter) and they're doing great. No issues with rain, watering or weather! Very durable too.

I've been using these pretty regularly since we received them. They were also used everyday as winter storm Finn came through leaving us in the gulf coast around 20°F or so overnight.These lights have held up wonderfully. They do get a little warm, but not too hot. Just be careful. Our plants have responded well to them, too. I'm very pleased with them!

I use this light for my studio and it keeps my plants growing and healthy! They are very bright! And makes my plants healthy.

I've purchased four 22 ft strings so far. They are super easy to install (I'm 76 and could do it easily), bright, and the customer service team (Dany) stepped up right away when a couple of the bulbs did not work and needed replacement. There was no pushback at all...I was just asked for my address so that new bulbs could be sent out. Now, that is exceptional customer service! I'm really impressed with this vendor and the product and will continue to purchase from them.

I haven't had a chance to put these lights on my plants yet, but I did set them up to see how they hang and their throw pattern/distances.Overall the build seems sturdy. The 'bulbs' are very lightweight and do not get overly hot. being they are a normal bulb socket, these could also be useful individually or in other fixtures. The cord is fine and provides a place to hang the light at each lamp which I would recommend to get the right distance/even hanging. Otherwise you'd get the cord droop and uneven angles. They say 'waterproof' and I would probably only consider it water resistant. They should handle any watering/rain easily. The cord ends screw together nicely, but are just hard plastic with no rubber O rings or seals.These will be a great addition for growing, and might work well for seed starting/growing on multiple shelves with the distance being long enough to have a light per shelf.

Very easy installation, works well! Have tried several others; this is by far the best.And my plants are loving it too.

The protective lens coverings for each lamp falls out. I find them in the floor of my greenhouse.I imagine I can glue them back in.Otherwise, the plants seem to like the light.
