The oil catcher is a small drawer. The problem with the drawer is that it get hooked and it won't come out. The temperature can get very hot on #2. I have to lower it when I make pancakes to #1. I burnt the pancakes on #2. It's easy to wash and it does not burn the cooking top even when I burnt the pancakes so that I like.

I'm slightly addicted to kitchen gadgets. I have one of these with a wavey griddle, but it doesn't work for everything. Recently, my glass cooktop cracked and it's just not in the cards to replace it right now. This has been a great (temporary) replacement: I've done chicken, porkchops, french toast pancakes, zucchini, eggs... The heating seems to be consistent and everything has turned out fantastic. It's easy to clean and easy to store in a cabinet. Obviously, it should go without saying, but DO NOT use any type of metal utensils on it or you will mess up the nonstick coating. I would not recommend cooking anything on it that has a glaze or sticky coating, since you can't really soak or scrip it like you would a cast iron or normal pan. So far, it has served me well and gets used 3-4 times a week.

This griddle is great for cooking pancakes, French toast, or just about anything else. I have three quibbles, however.First, the temperature control doesn't have temperatures on it. Yes, a setting of 3 is 225-275 degrees. Am I supposed to look this up each time I use the pan? Why couldn't they just put temperatures on the control like everybody else does?Second, Aoran Kitchen is an Amazon only brand. I have no problem with this other than they attempt to hide this fact. There is no Aoran Kitchen on the web and you can only buy their products on Amazon.Lastly, the manual is paper and is necessary if you use the pan with several recipes where you want to change the temperature, as there are no temperatures on the control. I like to download my manuals as PDFs, rather than keep them in a drawer. Amazon provides no PDF version for this important part of the griddle. When you lose it, it's gone.

The media could not be loaded.  This griddle makes it easy to cook for a larger family. I'm able to cook everything I need. Very easy to clean and pretty much wipes clean easily. Amazing price and a must have in every home. It has a drip tray to easily catch all the grease so it doesn't go onto your counter or floor

I used this device one time and found that it obviously didn’t heat evenly. It had a hot spot that ran down the middle of the cooking surface. After it cooled, I set it next to the sink to wash it. I accidentally bumped it with my elbow and it slide off the counter into the sink and shattered plastic pieces everywhere. I won’t recommend this unit to anyone.

Purchased for my son as a gift. Family of 4 who makes pancakes every weekend. Plenty of space and even heating. Easy clean up with non-stick surface. They’ve used it 3 times since New Years and said they “really like it”.

Very light weight. Not the highest quality of material. Heats up very well easy to clean not worth $50 . Feels like if you dropped it it would break kinda junky

Heats evenly over entire surface.
