Comparison of three brands of maqui powder
I compared 3 brands of Maqui Powder: Feel Good Organics, Kiva and Terrasoul.Color: The Feel Good Organics powder has the deepest color of the three. It's a very dark, rich, almost bluish purple. Kiva and Terrasoul are slightly more reddish and a lighter hue but Kiva is the lightest by just a hair. I'm not sure if the deeper color of the FGO powder indicates a higher level of anthocyanins.Taste: Kiva and Terrasoul taste exactly the same in my opinion. They have a berry taste with a faint hint of earthiness. FGO has a stronger, more pure berry taste.Grit: I added enough water to each powder to make a paste and let them sit for a while. Then, I spread them out on the plate to compare how gritty each paste was. They all appeared to be about the same.Price: I paid $11.99 for the FGO powder. Kiva and Terrasoul were bought using Subscribe & Save with a 15% discount for $12.74 and $11.89 respectively. Conclusion: I'm sure all three brands are great and have comparable health benefits but I will stick with Feel Good Organics due to the value, deeper color and better flavor.

Super healthy, great addition to smoothies
Maqui berries are the highest antioxidant and anti-inflammatory thing you can add to your diet. The berries themselves are very delicate and difficult to ship, so this brand of dried powder is the way to go. Excellent in smoothies.

Dark and rich, but I wish it was available for subscribe-and-save
This post started as a comment debating a negative post. You may recognize several sentences, since I copied much of that reply here.Of the brands I have used, this has consistently been among the least gritty. (The cheaper stuff from HealthWorks I resorted to sifting the powder and throwing away all the seed particles. It's good after you sift it (twice) and has a much deeper color once you sift it, but then I only get 3 oz of powder out of every 4 oz bag.) My main use of this product is in a combination drink mix that I consume every day, but I also make a delicious gelatine using this powder, knox gelatin, whole monk fruit powder, beet juice powder, and ascorbic acid, and it has the most amazingly wonderful silky texture and rich berry flavor (probably due to cooking--maqui berries naturally have a more subtle flavor than many berries even though they are the most nutrition-dense berries you can get in terms of the polyphenols that are the reason so many doctors tell their patients to eat berries on a daily basis ("Doctors recommend" is not a medical claim--just a casual observation. Three of my doctors, a neurologist, my family physician, and my nephrologist have recommended I eat multiple servings of dark purple berries every day.) I just wish it was available as a subscribe-and-save item because I easily use up 24 ounces of Maqui berry powder each month (which is why I keep trying other brands).

Good product
The color is deeper than two other brands that I have tried before; however, like the others, it does not have much taste. I hope the benefits of the antioxidants are good.

Fantastic flavor
Oh my gosh tastes amazing added to yougurt! It was so flavorful. I can't wait to add it a smoothie or my morning oatmeal. Might taste great in homemade hot white chocolate. Endless possibilities.

Very good maqui powder
There isn't a whole lot of differences in the look and taste of the two brands of organic Maqui powder I've bought..although after I learned about this fruit, I simply chose to buy organic and went for the lowest price brand offered..A few are packaged as 3 oz and not 4 oz...and color wise, they looked similar in color...But when the first brandI tried (Navitas was out of stock), I just bought Feel Good which I thought was very similar..and now I think I like the Feel Goods brand enough to order a second bag as I'm using a heaping tsp of powder in a smoothie every day. The powder mixed well into liquid, has a super high orac scale which is why I'm using maqui in the first place, but like any antioxidant or flavanol or product with superb nutrients, it's difficult to quantify if I notice a difference since I'm using it. It's probably just a few months...but I know dark purple foods are good for the heart, liver and kidneys. I like to consume a variety of different deep pigmented plant foods, and often don't consume enough dark purple fruits orveggies... so I will continue to use this powder and buy this brand because I can't find anything negative to sayabout it.

Maqui powder
Be careful it will lower your blood sugar levels, it’s good with Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, whey powder protein.

MOVE OVER AÇAI!!!
Being big on finding better ways to maximize my antioxidant intake I've become very fond of these berry and fruit powders.Having tried the açai and other blends from different companies I much prefer Feel Good organics. In the recent months I've been using there açai powder and in this last week I've received the Maqui very powder andIT IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!Far superior in taste than the açai berry powder it's like a blueberry on steroids. The taste is pungently berry, a dark rich berry flavour that can come through in anything. I use to to jazz up my coconut milks, in smoothies of course and it bakes amazingly well with strikingly berry flavour even after cooking.Having used the açai for a few months and not being impressed at all with it's flavour but sticking with it for the health benefits, I found that with this Maqui berry powder, I can get great taste and the antioxidant benefits I'm looking for.A great purchase and definitely making more.
