Aleavia Body Cleanse – Organic & All-Natural Prebiotic Body Wash – Fragrance-free and Sulfate-Free Enzymatic Body Cleanser – 16 Oz.

This is my first experience with this brand. I was using Nivea, but they've changed their formula where it was drying my skin out something fierce. I decided to search for something more natural when this one popped up.The feel is very luxurious. It's a thick gel consistency vs a cream, which I more used to. It's very smooth and not jelly, like other brands. It doesn't really foam, which is common among more natural products, but I feel clean after using the product. It's not greasy or heavy on the skin, which is a definite plus. I also love that a little goes a long way.I have very sensitive, 40-year-old skin and have strong allergies to perfumes and certain ingredients. I was a little hesitant with the smell, but it's been awesome. It smells a little strong out of the bottle, but quickly absorbs and becomes very subtle as you use it. I can't quite describe the orchid smell for you, as I've never smelled anything like it before. It's not a heavy rose scent and not powdery at all. What I can tell you is that it made me think of a higher end spa product. So, think more high-end smell vs an artificial one you'd find in most products.I absolutely love that this is cruelty free, only has 8 ingredients I can actually pronounce, eco-friendly, AND made in the US. I've never been able to find a product that hits those buttons for me. It makes the price not seem as high as if you were grabbing a different product from Target or Walmart.I really can't say enough good things about this product. This brand is a staple and I love this so much, I'm turning on the subscription for it. You will not go wrong with this product.

This body wash has super clean ingredients that will not harm your skin. It also smells amazingly abundant. It also hydrates your skin. My skin is super super dry and always has been my whole life, but since I’ve been using this, I do not have to use even half the lotion I was at the beginning when I was using traditional, Dr. Bronner‘s soap. It also lasts a very long time and makes you feel super clean.

Citrus Bliss smells amazing! I am sensitive to artificial fragrances (bath & body works makes me want to gag) and this smells amazing! Great cleanser, and I also use it to shave. No complaints! Great quality.

Cleared my skin up and smells nice/ not chemically /artificial. Only compliant is i agree with other commenter, it takes a lot to feel clean. I know it doesnt have chemical latherers, but it almost feels like its absorbing into my skin and I have to squirt twice to cover my body. But I do like it so its a bit pricey for how much you get out of it.

My FAVORITE body wash!! Clean ingredients and it smells like freshly picked honeysuckle. It doesn't lather a lot, but the texture is so luxurious.

So I just used this for the first time. If you’re not used to natural products, it takes a bit of realization: natural cleansers don’t lather (much), that doesn’t mean you need to use more; skin feels different after- it’s not going to strip natural oils so no “squeak,” it’s not leaving crazy stuff/ film on your skin so at first I actually thought I didn’t feel clean and it left stuff behind (bc of the no squeak) but the more I thought/ realized, the more I loved this product. Yes, my skin feels different - I almost even thought dry, and I used the lotion, too- but it’s that the product is working with my skin not stripping then coating it. I’m actually feeling MY SKIN not the coating of a bunch of chemicals. At first I thought the scent was more like rose, but while using it it is more orchid-esque. It’s not a strong scent, even layering with the lotion, so it won’t interfere with the scent of the oils I use for fragrance but will elevate it with a nice base scent. look forward to seeing how my skin reacts over her next couple weeks as my body sort of detoxes from the past mistakes. Skin stuff is my final step into a more natural home, maybe I’ll try their facial products next.

A friend recommended this to me as a face wash. I had been looking for a natural face wash and this brand had made a face wash and I loved it, but they discontinued it. We both switched over to this body wash and have used it on our faces once a day and it has cleared up our skin and doesn’t leave any residue behind. It is very refreshing.

I really wanted to love this product. I absolutely love the ingredients, and I got the honeysuckle version. Bought to use as a shampoo & face wash. I agree with other reviews, there isn’t enough lather at all. I use natural bar soap & shampoo bars currently. Sadly, I could only use this as a face wash, and it’s too expensive for only that. That said, it smells amazing and left my face very soft. I would definitely order again if they added a natural, non toxic ingredient to help the lather. Will be returning this item so I can’t recommend it. I do like the Aleavia orchid lotion.
