I really like these (and I am not sure why people have mentioned batteries, I found the reviews confusing, these are straight up solar which is what I wanted). I wish they lasted longer but they turn on automatically when it's dark and last about 3 hours maybe but they really are pretty. Be sure that solar panel is in a spot that gets the most direct sun throughout the day as possible. Ive had them for at least a month or more and I just took that photo. I hope get continue to last. I wish I had gotten more of them instead of the other tiny lights that were a waste. Lovely at night just wish they had more that about 3 or 4 hours.

After about 1.5 months only half are working. It looks good on our patio but that was a bummer!I received another set from seller. It has been about 5 days, they are working great. I’ll update again after 2 months but as of now it seems promising. I can see bulb lit up through morning.From 2 stars to 4 stars based on customer service. Will make it 5 star if bulb continues to work for 2 + months.

These lights are cute but put off VERY little light. Kind of disappointed. They are so easy to set up, and a good length. If they put out more light I would be happy.Update- 6/2020 I received an email inquiring about my disappointment with the product from the company. To follow up, the products wire became totally detached from the control box. I explained everything to them and they turned around and totally replaced the product with no questions asked, very kind and professional. Now THAT'S customer service. Dont see that much anymore. Wish everyone else would take lessons. LolOn a side note, plan to use these as ambiance/ mood lighting. Works great in addition to Edison lights for example. Very sturdy bulbs. Cute under my canopy.

I waited a couple days to write this review for testing reasons. I know others have had great experience with these but the strands I received are not as expected. You get what you pay for. They are ok. Reason for the low rating is because I honestly thought they would’ve been brighter. I understand their solar but I was expecting them to be a little brighter. They are nicely designed and durable. Just wish there was a brightness setting to make them brighter. I purchased two strands but I will have to purchase two more or look for brighter ones. I was really looking forward to these and the concept is great for my application. Its just a bummer you can’t even tell if there on at night. They are really dim and that’s with them getting full sun two days in a row.(UPDATE 8/14/2017)Customer service did contact me and help make things right. They sent me replacements and yes they are good. You do need multiple strands to help illuminate your application. Great cust service that went above and beyond. Highly recommended.

I bought the Globe String Lights to decorate for Girls Camp. I wasn't sure if they were going to work because initially I couldn't get them to light up as I desired. But once we set them up at camp and the solar panel was placed strategically to collect the most sunshine, they turned on each night and added some fun ambiance to our Bohemian Style Camp. They even withstood several heavy rainstorms and continued to work. The strands are long enough to stretch over a significant area. I bought two sets and we hung them from our tents.

These lights are smaller than I anticipated. They're about the size of medium cherry tomatoes. I ordered 3 strings and one didn't work, so I returned it, but the other two are working fine. We don't have much southern sun due to trees, so our solar panels face west where they get about 4 hours of direct sun. The lights stay lit for about 4-6 hours which is enough for us. They also don't shine as brightly as they would if they got southern sun all day, but they work for us this way. The lights provide nice ambiance under our pergola, but it's no enough light for any kind of task.

I waited about a week to write this review after unboxing. The lights were super easy to install on my small apartment balcony and have alread endured a few thunderstorms. My rating is low because these lights are extremely dim. Unfortunately since I’m in an apartment not all areas of the building get super direct sunlight all day. After fully charging on Day 1 these lights provided light comparable to one 3 wick candle in a 5x8ft space. My neighbors are making me sad with all their beautiful lights. The pastor 3 days the globes didn’t turn on at all, I’m guessing due to the lack of direct sunlight. I’d go with traditional battery powered, electric lights, or multiple strings especially if you’re looking for the holiday season.

Previously I gave this product two stars because the wires broke after only a month. I would like to update my review to 4 stars after learning that this was not a fault of the lights themselves. I bought replacement lights from somewhere else only to catch a squirrel chewing through the wires.These lights were really cute while I had them and I liked that they had a soft yellow glow instead of being bright white. I will likely repurchase a set of these if I can solve my squirrel problem. The wiring in one was a little touchy but once its been hung in place its not really a problem.
