Taylor 3509 TruTemp Series Refrigerator/Freezer Analog Tube Thermometer with Safety Zones

Wanted a small non battery thermometer. So far this is perfect for my needs. Easy to read and is accurate.

This thing is wonderful! For a few years now my son and I would battle over the fridge temp. He kept setting it too low and freezing things like veggies, milk, juice, pickles. So, I invested in this temp gauge. FINALLY the boy is leaving the thermostat alone and my veggies and such is no longer frozen. It is wonderful and is saving me lots of cash cause I'm not having to trash things.

Just got a small freezer and I wanted something so I could keep track of the temp , works like a charm but it does come loose from the wire basket occasionally so you have to dig through the freezer to get to the bottom to retrieve it .

Tells temp that I assume is accurate so that's the important part, but suction cups do not work AT ALL. I got the one to stick in the fridge by running it under warm water for a minute and of course cleaning and drying fridge wall thoroughly and it stuck for about a minute. So plan on laying it on the shelf if u have glass. Freezer works better cuz I have wire shelves so can hang it

The thermometer constantly get's knocked off the suction cup.HOWEVER: I calibrated it in an ice water bath; and it was dead–to–nuts; which in the end, is what counts.
