They work and are easy to fit but the screws if comes with are too small for the bracket so kind of annoying but I’ve had them installed about 2 months and they’re fine. Saves buying new cupboard doors.

This item consists of four stainless steel plates and a number of screws. The photo shows hinges, so I hope no one thinks they are purchasing hinges! The screws are countersunk self-tappers. They should be round-headed or cheese-headed! So this item, although I have managed to modify it to make it a better engineering solution, as sold displays a lack of attention to detail.

The hinge on my cheap chipboard shoe rack cabinet had ripped out, damaging the old mounting points on the chipboard, and could not be reattached until I bought this wonderful item.It's a large(ish) flat metal plate with various pre drilled holes that you screw to the "good" chipboard inside the cabinet, carefully lining up the pre drilled holes over where the old hinge mounting point was and patching the damaged area. The old hinge can then be screwed securely into the pre-drilled metal plate.All you need is a small drill and a screwdriver; the plate comes with suitable screws.A simple repair that has given some old furniture a new lease of live.
