Yea it's expensive......but IT'S SUBSTANTIAL in weight and thickness......Not flimsy like you normally see. Very easy to read , especially the yellow with black marks. I has a nice deep and wide center to hold bigger / wider fish. Something solid enough to pass down from one generation to another. Quality product.

For that price and made of plastic. And I'm sure there like some of the other brands. They will sit in the weather and get brittle. I'll spend the extra money and get the aluminum one

Kayak finish
I like this item it is a good material and is easy to use, but for me the I fish in a kayak is not good it is to wide and long so it doesn’t fit in my kayak, I have to keep it in the back of the kayak and turn to get it when I like to Measure a fishing, if this was less wider it would be great, I will recommend it if you are not kayak fishing.
