The product was shipped early. From the time I took it off the front porch and installed it was only 30 minutes. That includes removing the old tail light. Excellent fit and proper part for a GMC 2011 2500 HD. Very simple and easy to install. Even a person non-mechanically inclined would have no problem. Thanks guys

fully wired , with all bulbs installed, and a long wiring harness to plug into a normal truck's system.However, mine has a towing package, so the plug that came with it was not compatible.No big deal at all, since there are really only 4 wires in the harness, so rather than crawling around underneath the truck in the cold and rain, i merely clipped the wires abut 6 inches from the old light and did the same on the new one, spliced 4 places (using shrink tubing to cover), and all was well. Lignt fits well, looks good and that's all I have to say

It came with lights and a harness. The harness was wrong. Used my old harness and have extra light. Fit perfectly so all is good.

The taillight arrived on time and well packed. When I attempted to install the unit I found the following. The unit comes with the plastic fasteners that engage with the body panel, concealing the alignment pins that are used to mount the front of the light. Since removing the old broken light did not entail removing the plastic fasteners, I broke off the plastic locks with a vice grip and vice, exposing the alignment pins, first problem solved. Second, since my vehicle's wiring was intact and worked perfectly I tried unplugging the current harness from the old light and installing in the new housing. No luck, the bulb mounts were not exact fits with one loose and another too large for the socket. I climbed under the truck and after a struggle was able to unplug the old wiring harness. Routing the new harness was easy but when I attempted to engage the plug with the socket, I found that it lined up perfectly but would not lock in place. I pulled it back out and compared it to the old plug, the locking tabs were different. I cut off the old plug and attached it to the new harness using crimp-on fasteners. Problem solved, routed wiring, fastened tail light in place, plugged in wiring and did a check. All OK. Fastened harness to frame with plastic wire ties.I compared the two taillights, the old one on the right vs. the new one on the driver's side. Red Color the same, internal plastic patterns the same. Fit 99% perfect. Brightness, same. A minute examination would show that some of the microprinting on the lens is not the same as original, other than that, well made and great replacement at a bargain price.

The new passenger-side assembly came with its own set of bulbs and wiring as the truck's original bulbs were different from the replacement kit. I had to crawl under the back of my truck to route the new wire and plug it in (wire length and plug were perfect fit.) The only reason I couldn't reuse the original truck's wires in the new taillight shell was the new assembly came with a big, fat backup- light bulb instead of the tiny light that was originally supplied and the original bulb mount wouldn't quite slot into the new taillight shell. The new backup light throws a pretty decent beam as I back into my home parking spot that is bordered by some privacy brush, a utility pole and guy cables that are all hard to see on a rainy/snowy night. You can see why I needed to replace the taillight assembly in the first place. I'm ordering another one of these to replace my driver-side taillight so I can light up the night as I drive around backwards.

Came with bulbs and wiring harness

Very well made and very fast shipping. One NOTE: My truck is a *very* early production model. It uses slightly different parts through out the truck.On of those is the tail lights. It uses a different backup bulb (a much smaller 921 than the 3047 in this product) and the mounting screws are slightly different. I just took the clip nut off the old unit and then could use the old screws. The unit doesn't come with mounting screws. Other than that is was a reasonably good fit.

Looks great and works just fine.
