Needed this when playing some vinyl records at a party. The light helped me to view and read the record label. As the torch incorporates a magnifying glass, I did not have to worry about putting on and taking off my reading glasses every time. Therefore, it was ideal for the job. I can see other ways the magnifying glass & torch can help. Like when doing DIY work, assembling a product and you have to locate tiny pre-drilled holes. Has a good grip and size so offers a good view. I also liked that it is lightweight so not heavy to hold. Will definitely recommend :)

This is a very sturdy and relatively high-quality magnifying glass made of plastic. It arrived as promised and was packaged well. The product itself is nice looking, as magnifying glasses go. The LED lights are very helpful and the magnification is strong, so will certainly help me read instructions. As I hope to carry it around in my handbag (I'm not really planning on being a detective!), the only downside for me was its weight (although I'm sure this was probably specified in the advert, I just didn't think about it). To be able to relate to the weight it's about the weight of a can of 330ml coke.

Love this and has come in handy most days. The LED lights are bright and perfect for trying to read something on a darker background or for close work

This was ideal for my mother in law. The magnification is excellent. A little bit heavy perhaps but it’s a good buy.

The lighting is excellent and the view quite clear with little distortion, and the ring of LEDs give good bright illumination, The claimed 30X magnification does not seem to give an image 30 times larger than that of the target - that would require a proper microscope - but it certainly brings things up much closer. I have three of these, and the switches for the lighting is a bit stiff to operate on two and very stiff and intermittent on the third - it is faulty so I will be returning it for a refund. With the batteries inserted it is quite heavy but not unwieldy and fairly easy to hold.

This magnifying glass is excellent quality, whether you are using the battery, or not. The ergonomic shape makes it easy to use and the glass remains unscratched because of the good design.

I was a bit disappointed to discover this came without batteries as most products are supplied with batteries included. Also (having purchased the batteries) I discovered that the battery cover is extremely fragile and difficult to close, I would not envisage this will last long without the tabs breaking. Once batteries had been purchased and the battery cover closed it worked ok and does the job for which it was intended.
