Finally got my favorite pickles!!
So I'm not one of those people who think that all pickles taste the same. Those that say they do are just wrong! I loved these pickles as a kid and then we suddenly stopped having them stocked in any of our stores. I have looked for years for a pickle that tasted the same, or at least close. I never found one. I had seen them listed here on amazon but could never bring myself to spend the money on them. My husband pointed out a while back that I probably spent just as much in my failed attempts to fine the best comparable pickle, and that I should just go ahead and buy these. I'm so happy I did! Yes they're expensive but so worth it! Those that complained about them not being crisp haven't had these pickles often. I have never had one that was crunchy and I honestly like that they're a bit soft.

Best pickles EVER!!!!
It really sucks that Krogers, Walmart, and Miejers in my area stopped carring these pickles. I am a pickle fanatic and these are the best pickles EVER!!! They are different from the pickles you are used to. More tart and sour. That is because they are not the kosher recipe. I remember getting a giant pickle at this amusement park in my area as a kid and they taste similar. Only better. It sucks I have to pay $12 instead of $4 for one of my favorite foods. I have a family of 5...me, wife, 3 boys. 2 boys and the wife like pickles. But none will touch these. So...it is a matter of taste I guess. To me, these are amazing and in my top 10 favorite foods along with Prime Rib and Filet Mignon.

The flavor of these picklesš¤©āŗ
I have always loved dill pickles. My favorite ones were those that came in their own pouch. I always wondered why I couldn't find them in jars at the grocery store, well I bought these Heinz Genuine Dills and tried them. They are the best dill pickles I've ever found that compared to the ones I would get in the pouch...These are so perfectly sour and dilly. Also, the pickles are the perfect size! Best pickles in my book!!I highly recommend these! Yummy!

genuine waste of money
lots of reviewers claim these are the best dills they have ever had. all i can say is i feel sorry for them. i had high hopes for these. they are very expensive for what you actually get. the picture made them look like the big sour dills i used to see in big jars at the deli or at the county fair. but the photo gives nothing to compare to for size, and is misleading in it shows pickles much larger than they actually are. these pickles are small. they are also soft, mushy, have a weird color, and taste like chemicals. these āgenuineā dill pickles show no signs of real dill in the jar or on the list of ingredients. there are however several chemicals that have no place in pickles. i donāt know what the āgenuineā part is, but heinz lists the ingredients as:CUCUMBERS, WATER, DISTILLED WHITE VINEGAR, LACTIC ACID, SALT, CALCIUM CHLORIDE, POTASSIUM SORBATE (AS A PRESERVATIVE), NATURAL FLAVORS, POLYSORBATE 80.usually, i make my own pickles (when i can get good cucumbers). the brine for traditional crock dill pickles is simple: 1 part salt, 3 parts vinegar, 9 parts water. thats it. bring the brine to a boil just to melt the salt and then set it aside while you prep the vegetables. layer fresh dill, cucumbers, and some garlic in a clean jar or crock, then completely cover with the warm brine. store at room temp for 4 days, and they are ready to eat, but the older they get the better the flavor gets. pickles made this way will last well over a year in the refrigerator with no added preservatives or chemicals and no cooking or canning required. if good crisp cucumbers were used to start with, they will stay crisp. salt and vinegar are natural preservatives. no extra chemicals needed. try it. that said, heinz doesn't get it. if i ever need to buy dills again iāll buy claussen.

Best Jarred Pickles - Deliciously Sour!
Finding these pickles on Amazon Fresh has made my year. I live in Brooklyn and cannot find them anywhere, but the price is right and the pickles are on point. I prefer locally-made artisan pickles when I can get them, but when I can't and need to purchase jarred brand-name pickles, these are THE BEST! Love love love.NOTE: These pickles are delightfully sour, but do not have a major crunch factor. They are firm, but on the softer side. This is how they are supposed to be! They are not low quality or "bad." As long as you know that going in, you'll fall in love with these pickles!

Best Pickles Ever!!!!
These are the original/authentic Heinz Genuine Dills. I bought these regularly at Jewel & Dominic's & I love these pickles but they are very, very hard to find. My local grocer got smaller jars pre-pandemic but none since early 2020. The price on Amazon is 6X what they sell for at grocers but as they say, "I had a hankering." Heinz needs to bring these back or sell the pickling spices so that we able to can our own. Order if you need a fix but they are VERY EXPENSIVE.

Heinz Genuine Dill Pickles
I think that the Heinz Genuine Dill Pickles are the best. These pickles use to be in the stores all over the east coast. I am so glad that I was finally able to locate them again. These pickles are huge. I didn't think that when I order online that I would be able to find this size, but I did. I actually ordered twice. I also got the package of 6 instead of 3. If you haven't tried these pickles and you like sour pickles, these are the ones to try.I also was very pleased with the seller. One of the packages that I received had two broken jars (UPS - need I say more?) but the seller refunded half my money. I was very happy about that. I think I will now order another package.
