I was looking for a dispenser that would allow me to tear one sheet off the roll, using one hand only. This items fulfills that requirement. Plus it is well engineered, finished nicely and easy to install!

This was so easy to install with screws. It hold a large Costco roll. It easily tears off a sheet with one hand.

The unit was very easy to install using the enclosed screws, did not bother with the adhesive since it is an under the cabinet install. Holds a roll of paper towels very securely making for an easy one handed tear.The unit appears very sturdy and will hopefully last for a few years.

I needed a decent, sturdy paper towel holder that looked nice. This one is perfect! I installed it under the kitchen cabinet where my old one was. Did not use adhesive, used the screws and I was able to do it with my screwdriver. This holder is silver, it matches my stove and fridge, looks great and holds the towels firmly with the spring tension, yet it is easy to tear off a towel. Absolute perfection. Nowhere could this type of paper towel holder be bought in any local store, but I was so happy to finally find this particular holder, it is the best style. It might be costing more than some of the others but you pay for what you get and this will last for a long long time! I would buy it again and the service was great, got it promptly and packed well.

It's pricey compared to most dispensers however it works as described, ONE handed! Assembly is easy. Did not use the adhesive, hard mounted it under a cabinet with supplied hardware. Although it's a product from China it seems to be very well made and will hopefully last for many years of use. I would recommend this product over all others looked at and used over the years. The best part is my wife loves the way it works and looks.

I have cheap prebuilt cabinets in my condo and I wasn't sure I could drill through the bottom without going all the way into the bottom interior of my cabinet - so I used the stick-on option - and I'm honestly really impressed with it. Granted, I'm a single person, not a family, and I'm gentle with it when I use it (rarely) but I honestly expected it to fall off within a week of me sticking it on but it's still stuck firmly on the underside of the cabinet and not budging at all.

As you've looked this far in search of a replacement, you already know that cabinet mount paper towel bars are a genuine "double dang, triple throwdown" sort of aggravation. Besides the kitchen faucet, the towel bar is the second most used appliance in the kitchen. There is simply no more troublesome kitchen appliance.Having installed dozens of them over the years, I've come to plan for them to fail and be replaced. So install them with an eye toward the need to install a replacement soon — plan on replacing them a lot if you're seeking the least expensive bar.When I saw this SS variation, I thought it was worth trying. On installation, my first impression was that it was the best I've seen. The attachment configuration and provisions looked solid … except for the internal PVC connect bracket containing the spring-loaded hinge housed inside the SS side covers. More on that later.Two holes in the SS escutcheon attach the fixture to the cabinet door. The side brackets are ingeniously secured to the escutcheon by a positioning pin and threaded, countersunk screw secured into the PVC mounting hinge. It all went together as instructed.Safety tip #1 – Take great care when drilling the door pilot for the attaching screw. From years of cabinet work, I use a parabolic, tapered drill bit with a precision stop, set shorter than the door is thick. It's so dang easy to drill right through the door.I don't use the adhesive strip. First, given the inevitable replacement, the strip can/will peel the inside finish off the door when replaced. Second, the adhesive is unforgiving when positioning the bracket for screw attachment. There's only one chance to get it right. After the bond makes contact, the fixture will not be moved, no matter how crooked you accidentally put it on.This bar, on installation, was a solid, proud achievement—the best I'd ever seen … for less than a day.Back to that PVC hinge to escutcheon mount … the threaded PVC is too soft. The SS screw stripped out the PVC threads. One side just gave it up and fell off.The solution was mixing 2-part Gorilla epoxy, gluing the screw in, and thin coating whatever interface space I could find. Problem solved!It's the best towel holder I've run across. Easily handles a large roll.
