Vigo Authentic Long Grain White & Wild Rice, Savory No Fat, 8oz (White & Wild Rice, 8 Ounce (Pack of 12))

I have been purchasing Vigo brand rice for years, decades probably. The flavors change but two are consistent over the years. The yellow rice and the white and wild, both being excellent. This is a nice mix of just enough wild rice to be interesting and hearty but with enough white rice to not have the texture of eating a mouth full of tiny sticks as can happen with straight wild rice. This is great with pork or chicken. Excellent as a stuffing for white meats as well. Nice seasoning, simple but far more interesting and elevated from plain white rice.

Love this rice and unfortunately, it’s not sold anywhere near me so I’m forced to order it online. Very tasty and serves well as a side dish to just about anything. The way the item was shipped however, left slot to be desired. Seller didn’t place box containing the packets of rice in an additional box, or even wrap it before shipping. By the time it arrived at my house, the box was literally falling apart. Bottom line, product five stars, shipping 0 stars.

This is a fantastic and easy to make meal. Unfortunately after moving I haven't been able to find this locally (ditto the Vigo red beans & rice) so my wife and I were happy to find this available through Amazon. This rice pairs amazingly well with Salmon. If you live near a Publix and want to make a ridiculously great and easy meal just bake up a couple of their Salmon Pinwheels + this rice. Don't even bother with vegetables, your guests will never get to them.

This is an excellent dish as it is ....but adding chicken...mushrooms or a vegetable it is a perfect dinner!!

We love the seasoning on this rice we cook it in a Remington 6 cup rice cooker, and I usually add a half cup of white rice and a bit more water to extend the rice. It is awesome, our family really likes it and I have given some to friends at work and now they buy it by the case!

I bought this because it received 100% 5 Stars. Lake the saying goes Thousands of people can't be wrong. Rice is very good and flavorful. Very easy to make. "Try it, you like it."

We've been looking for this item in stores but no one seems to carry it anymore. We love the mix of white and wild rice!

Great tasting rice mixture. Only one I’ve been using last 25 years in favorite chicken and wild rice casserole. No other brands taste as good. Little costly on Amazon, but cannot buy at local grocery store chains any longer. Worth the extra cost.
