Good for occasional use
This is not as heavy duty as name brand sprayer I bought in garden center but it does what I need done at a better price. I wanted something I could dedicate to insecticide which I only use on a limited area a few times during the growing season. Didn’t feel I needed the top of the line expensive sprayer for a limited use

Perfect for plants
Sure beats a spray bottle! Got this to gently water newly sown seeds. Works great and cheap! Bonus: can set the trigger to continue spraying without having to hold it down. Planning to use this to spray garlic water on plants prone to slug damage. Only minor complaint is the hose is kind of short so I have to lift the whole thing to reach some plants.

Darn good sprayer for the money.
I ordered this 2 gallon model 24102 Flo-Master by Hudson sprayer back in early January of 2023 and have been using it every two weeks to spray my lemon tree for over 7 months. I also occasionally use it to spray other fruit trees. It seems like a good sprayer, especially considering the price, $15.98 I believe. The price has gone up since then, $29.99, but it is still a darn good deal. I am a little surprised that I bought it considering all of the bad reviews. I took a chance and ordered it anyway because of the price. It is as if some were reviewing a different product, not nearly as bad as reported. Perhaps the manufacturer has made some improvements since their reviews, but that would still mean a different product. Glad I took a chance and bought it.I am sure you can find a better sprayer but it is going to cost you and you can certainly pay more for a lower quality sprayer. The nozzle adjusts easily from a stream to a cone. The cone is great for spraying insecticide. Once in a while, a bit of debris or something will partially clog the nozzle and thus mess up the cone. I just open up the nozzle to a stream for a second or two, which so far has successfully flushed out the debris, and then close it back down to a cone. With the select-a-spray type nozzle, that debris would have shut me down. I would have had to try to disassemble the spray head and clean it out and probably would not have been successful, thus I would have had to replace the sprayer or at least use a different spray pattern, until that one clogged up as well. I guess I have been lucky so far in that the debris or whatever flushed out. I suppose larger debris would have had me disassembling and trying to flush it out. I hope you are as fortunate. The pump shaft and handle seems sturdy enough, not nearly as flimsy as reported by some. I do not have any complaints. Others complained about the shape of the pump handle. Again, I do not have any complaints about the handle. I wonder if they were reviewing a different product and their review got connected to the wrong product. The really nice thing about the pump handle is that the handle of the spray wand snaps into it for easy carrying and storage. That was an unexpected delight. It would have been nice if it had a pressure relief valve and an easy way to dump the pressure, but that does not seem to be a real problem either. The instructions want you to lay the sprayer on its side, perhaps with the bottom a little higher than the top, so the inlet to the sprayer hose is out of the liquid and then squeeze the spray wand to dump the pressure. That is way too much trouble for me. I just leave it upright and slowly unscrew the pump handle from the tank and let it dump the pressure that way. I got covered with spray while spraying the lemon tree and the little bit of spray that gets on me from unscrewing the pump is minimal and basically immaterial.I put a gallon of spray in the tank and use about one-third of it each time. I leave the remainder of the spray in the tank for use next two times, which is against the manufacturer’s recommendation, but it is what it is. The manufacturer wants one to drain it and clean it every time. I am unwilling to spend the time to drain and clean it every two weeks. So far, this has not caused any problems. One of my few complaints is that air leaks out from the connection where the spray hose connects to the tank. Tightening the connection nut helps a little, but only so much. I contacted Hudson, the manufacturer, and they agreed that coating the truncated cone on the hose that fits into the connection to the tank with a little petroleum jelly, Vaseline, should resolve the problem. They also commented that the petroleum jelly can be used in the air pump and other places in the sprayer. Apply it lightly as you do not want a glob of Vaseline getting into the tank and then clogging something up. More cleanup if you do.Once again, thus seems to be a very good sprayer for the price. Glad I bought it.

Update: Great customer service
Purchased two of these for next seasons use. Upon assembly I found that one unit had a broken pin that holds the valve trigger pin place.Despite that I easily came up with 3 or more ways to make this sprayer usable, I contacted customer service.I explained the situation and that it was a part that couldn't cost for than one or two cents to make. The agent then asked for the model, and for my name and address. I was then told the part would be mailed out and gave me an order number. The box arrived 3 days later....... a box about 18 inches long. Not just a pin, I was sent an entire new wand unit PLUS, it was a better hose and sprayer head from a more expensive model. What else can I say? I will buy from this company again based on their hassle free customer service.

Good Sprayer But Noticeable Design Flaws
This sprayer functionally works like you'd want a sprayer to work. It is a 5-star performance every single time. With that said, it does have a few 1-star design flaws.First, and foremost, the handle sucks. It is designed in such a way the sprayer nozzle handle snaps into the pump handle. So, everytime you pump, the handle digs into the palms of your hand with these two hard plastic butterknife thick edges. My only solution was to buy a dowel big enough to fit into the snap part of the handle so my hand wouldn't be hurt by hard plastic cutting into me everytime I pumped the sprayer. Personally, I never should have to buy an additional item, or modify a product, to keep it from hurting the user!Another vexing issue is the pressure release. There isn't a pressure release valve on this product. This means you have to unscrew the cap to release pressure. So, that almost always results in the poison, treatment chemical, fertilizer, or whatever spraying all over the user in an explosive mist. The opening doesn't have a funnel for ease of pouring. It isn't necessary, but better quality sprayers have these. There isn't a carrying strap. There are ridges for a carrying strap to be applied, but you'd have to buy that separately. Frankly, I hate buying add-ons that should already come on a product. The plastic to the pump shaft if very flimsy. When I pumping up the sprayer, I feel like I am going to bust the shaft as it has way too much bend. Finally, the locking mechanism for the pump sucks! After you've about crippled your hand trying to pump this beast, the locks are so small that if often doesn't engage properly. It just is a very aggravating deal.All-in-all, spend an extra few dollars for a better sprayer. This one isn't worth the time and money.

Makes it easy to care for my plants
This is a sturdy garden sprayer and it makes it easy to get the dormant spray on your berry plants and roses. Even with two gallons of liquid it is easy to carry around. My only suggestion is the manufacturers create a way to fasten the hose to the container during storage; the hose is left to just flop around, and this will make it easy to get snagged on something and get damaged.
