Easy to install and so far have kept the birds away

Truly there's a lot of them and they don't cost much so the negatives are outweighed by that. They are shiny. They aren't very thick. I haven't had them up long enough to say how long the finish will remain in place. I hung them all up immediately upon arrival. The zip ties i used to attach them to swivels were to large for the pre-made hole. So I drilled them all out to accommodate them. Out of all of them I shattered ( and I mean shattered) two. I'm experienced at things like this and took my time but they just didn't like it and I had to be extremely careful. I'm happy with them. If you don't use them all you'll have extras to replace them with. I used all but four minus the two I broke so I have two spares. I'm not hoping to keep birds away so much as I'm using these as a barrier for hawks. I have these hanging around the chicken almost like a wall to robb the hawks of an angle of attack. So far they are working but I must say I haven't noticed any birds in there either looking for grain.

Makes for a pretty addition. I think my birds are amused at my reasoning. They just laugh at me.

Nice and should work. Need some sort of hook to hang. One was broken in the pack.

These did not detract the birds or squirrels at all. I hung about 10 in our peach tree, and the rest on lines a foot or so over our blueberries. I'd sit out there and watch the squirrels stealing all our stuff, and there were two bird nests right above where i hung them in our tree. I was hoping they'd work as that's what the zoo has over the prairie dogs to keep the hawks away. No luck for me. Also the little rubber bands that are on them to hang by won't last you half a season. I had to take some fishing line to make new hangers for all of them. Only plus to this is they do look nice, so they'll transition for use with our christmas decorations to hang off the roof like icicles. That'd be a better intended purpose, large retro xmas decorations as they don't work for animal deterrance.

These I definitely recommend. Have birds all over my gazebo and tried a dummy owl and that worked for a bit but then didn’t. So far so good on these!
