Great Budget Case with a Few Things to Be Aware of
I will say that when you do the rounds on Google searching for "Best IPad keyboard case" you'll see a lot of different options, but this case is your very best bang for the buck. That said, there's a couple things you should know going into this to manage expectations-The case portion rotates 360 degrees, which means you can use this like a tablet without detaching the keyboard case. That's a huge feature that I don't think they emphasized enough. I thought I'd have to detach to use like a traditional tablet. It's hefty, but the convenience outweighs (pun intended) the cons.-You CANNOT have this in laptop configuration without the kickstand. It will tip over. You can mitigate this by always having your hands on the keyboard, but this is an awkward typing experience. The upside is the kickstand deployed actually makes for a very comfortable typing position.-The kickstand is VERY stiff. As in, I had to use a metal lever of a wine bottle opener to pry the thing open. I believe this was a cost saving measure to save on bespoke dentents and locks for multiple positions. You can leave the kickstand deployed all the way out and it'll mostly stay out of the way. Not elegant but it's the most practical.-The detachable case its basically just a hard plastic cover. No TPU or shock absorbing materials to speak of. I would not feel very confident dropping this guy. Additionally, there's not much of a raised lip to mitigate face down drops. So, use caution when transporting. Maybe loop your fingers through the kickstand you've left deployed.-The qwerty keys are NOT standard sized. Just know that going into it. I have ridiculous bear paws and was able to quickly adjust. I am typing this review at speed on the keyboard, so.-One of my major concerns prior to purchase was pinching a corner of the iPad and cracking the glass. Search similar products on amazon and you will see customer pics reflecting this. Fortunately, the iPad is set up far enough above the hinge that this will not be a problem. That's a big deal. All in all this is an EXCELLENT case, and will fit most of your keyboard needs outside of heavy duty, multipage academic writing. The price and feature set cannot be beat. If you've ever been frustrated with the on screen keyboard, but still want to retain the convenience of a tablet's portability, this is the case you want. Just bear in mind these above mentioned items, and you'll be pleased enough to make this your daily driver tablet case.

Thoughts for New Trent Keyboard Case Review
Great iPad Pro Keyboard CaseI was looking for a simple case with a keyboard for my iPad Pro 9.7". I did a lot of research before selecting this one. I wasn't willing to get a real expensive one.Criteria for me:- Detachable from the keyboard so I could use it in my hands whenever I wanted.- Smooth typing keyboard that makes it fairly easy for large hands to type on- Decent protection for the iPad for drops or scratches- Of course, all ports had to be available to use- Fairly light-weightI found this matched what I was looking for. There are alot of designer cases that honestly made it look more like a Macbook. I didn't really want to spend more than $50 on it. But I didn't want the cheapest one out there.. This one is pretty light-weight, around 2 lbs (Including the iPad installed) Keyboard keys aren't super loud when you type & it feels fairly smooth when pressing the keys down. All ports are open for use. It swivels so you can even sit the iPad up in a "tent" mode (I've seen that with some of the Windows tablets...Although I don't know how much I'd use it that way.It does have a flap on the edge of the keyboard to secure the iPad case from opening up while transporting it. My concern there is how long will that flap last? I generally carry it just like I would carry a laptop which don't have handles, so that isn't a big deal for me.To detach the top part of the case that encloses the iPad is very easy to do by sliding a small button to the side & then pulling the top up, starting from the left side. It's fairly easy to attach it again. The plastic material that is used feels like fairly good quality & I'm not really afraid of it breaking. Although, where the iPad meets the keyboard has a metal part to it that seems to be very sturdy. The case has a 'kickstand' that you pull out to stop the iPad from falling backwards because of most of the weight is the iPad. It has some tension when opening or closing that kickstand, but it's not too tight. I have found it's basically a nessecity to use the kickstand when you are using it on a flat surface. If you are sitting in bed or using it in your lap, the kickstand doesn't help that much & you'll need something extra under the kickstand to help keep it up (Like a pillow). A minor issue, but I'm not usually using it that way. You can always help hold it up by applying some weight with your hands on the keyboard as you're typing. I don't mind that at all. In fact, I may have had to do that with laptops before. The kickstand does prop it up some if you want, which I like it being at a slight angle.I like the iPad & Apple, so I have placed an extra Apple sticker on the back of the device for fun. The case will swivle backwards and fold on top of the keyboard so that it's easy to use it as a tablet without detaching it.I believe I got a lot for the price with this item & would definitly reccomend it. I give it the highest rating since it provides a lot for the price. I'm not expecting this device to be the same quality or have the same great looks as an (Overpriced) $100 keyboard case

Keeping New Trent & returning Swees
I'm still looking for the PERFECT keyboard cover for my terrific iPad Pro 9.7. This one is good, but I'm not in love with it. After using it for a couple of days, I ordered the Swees keyboard/cover in hopes that I would like it better. After using that one, I'm returning it and keeping the New Trent. I hope there will be more options in coming months and I'll be eager to upgrade. The New Trent keyboard feels solid, has enough room even for big hands, and connected easily with my iPad. Other than being as heavy or a little heavier than the iPad, it meets my expectations. Read other reviews of the overly tight kickstand and hinged lid. After a couple of days, mine was moving enough that I'm fine with it.I like using it on my lap when not sitting at a desk/table. I rejected the fold-over kinds and the Swees style that slides out because they are made of use on a table top not when holding it in your lap.I don't like that the iPad is top heavy and will fall backward if the kick stand is not pulled out. And I don't like the feel of touching the iPad screen - there is lose play in the top hinge and so the screen "bounces" when you push on it with your finger. The feature that I like best is reversing the iPad and folding the keyboard under so that I can hold it as a reader (no keyboard). It is quick to fold it that way and it feels balanced in that position. I am keeping it and returning the Swees keyboard cover. Can't wait to see additional options roll out in coming months.
