Great stopping power for 2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ
Had them on for over 3 weeks now on our 2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ with Summit Racing 450hp crate engine 5.3l Vortec. Great pads! Fast and aggressive stopping power when needed. Great in the cold and snow as well as in the rain! Will be buying this brand the next time I need new pads. May be getting new front rotors by this brand in the near future. Pads seem to be erasing the deep groves from the old pads that had metal on metal. Rotors may not be needed for a little longer. Rear pads will be next to replace.Great value, extra Hardware included such as noise making shims or regular shims, no noise at all under hard or regular braking, perfect fitment and smooth as butter even during hard fast braking!

So far so good
I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 4x4.I have never used Power Stop products before but bought these brake pads based on reviews and opinions of others I know who had.The package arrived in good nick and included an assortment of pad clips and a very small packet of lubricant.Replacement is pretty straight forward with no issues. These pads have tight tolerances so using a wire brush or electric wire wheel, ensure you thoroughly clean the slots and lube the clips on the caliper that the tabs sit in otherwise you may have difficulty getting the pads to seat correctly and/or they may bind.As I said, the kit comes with a small packet of lubricant. However, it is nowhere near enough to lube the guide pins and required contact points. I prefer to use Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant for this purpose.I have driven about 2,300 miles since the installation and the pads have worked well with good braking performance.NOTE, for optimum braking performance, it is important to bed new brake pads. Bedding brake pads allow new friction material on the pad to properly wear-in and the pad to match the profile of the rotor surface increasing contact and maximizing the braking performance.Find a stretch of road where you can conduct this procedure safely and legally.Accelerate the vehicle to 35 MPH and apply moderate brake pressure reducing your speed to under 5 MPH. Repeat this process 3 times.Next, increase speed to 50 MPH and strongly reduce speed down to 5 MPH. Ensure you don’t brake hard enough to activate the ABS or lock up the tires. You should be able to slow to 5 MPH within a few seconds. Repeat this process 4 times.IMPORTANT: DO NOT make hard high-speed stops during the bedding process, as it may cause the new friction material to overheat or glaze and possibly damage the rotors.Continue driving an additional 1-2 miles while very lightly braking to cool down the brakes. You will want to avoid heavy braking at this time so try to take a route home with minimal traffic lights or stop signs.Park the vehicle and allow the brakes to fully cool for an hour.

Good wearing pad
They shipped quickly; first shipment was damaged by Carrier. What was odd that amazon doesn't just ship out replacement, I had to call customer service for them to issue replacement order. Product was as expected, and I have used these before for my Suburban. I do tow and find these pads perform well and do wear well.

Great brake pads!
Ended up doing wheel hubs, rotors and brakes. Got these from the reviews. Bedded them and they are great. Silent and strong when you need it. Will update on dust after I put some miles on them, if there is any. Doesn't come with enough grease but I use permatex brake lubrication.

Power stop really has awesome customer service
Well ordered all new pads , rotors , stainless lines and calipers. Right side went on flawlessly then came the left fought with it and fought with it to find out the back pad was not machined or cast right the bottom of the rear pad actually touched the caliper bracket and would not go in. Front and back pads are easy to tell the difference as one is curved and one is flat at the bottoms . Made an email to power stop as I had to have the truck to go to work so took a grinder to the bottom of the metal pad backing didn't touch the brake pad material . Emailed power stop as they aren't open on the weekends . powerstop apologized for the issue and sent me another set via fed ex which came extremely fast. Now as far as how pad are . I think they are a definite improvement with only 10 miles on em so far. They for me are more for hauling so expect a vast improvements when hot. A little back story had dura last pads on drilled and slotted rotors . A few weeks ago had a medical emergency at my home and let's just say I set records coming home I'm sure. I live deep in the sticks so not much traffic. King story short when I went to pull in my driveway brakes were non existant and smoked like crazy when I came to a stop . So I decided was time to really upgrade

Power stop never disappoints.
Having installed a similar set on my '16 Silverado, it was a no-brainer to put this set on my wife's '19 Tahoe. The difference between these and OEM is immediately noticeable. They perform very well, even on OEM rotors. I highly recommend Power Stop brakes and rotors.

2017 Silverado perfect fit.
Perfect replacement for OEM Chevy Silverado 1500. I just replaced my worn out OEM pads with these no issues at all.
