I bought this product because tick season is in full gear. Our dogs are on tick medicine but I wanted extra protection. The smell is not great but not horrible. It's bearable. I spray the dogs before they go outside, on the directions it tells you to brush after spraying so that it coats their fur. I check them after they come back and I have only found one tick on each dog once. The tick was not attached just on top of their fur. I feel that so far it has been helpful in added protection.

Kills most pest on contact including ants water bugs as well as fleas will buy again

Works good on my chihuahua and his bed. Has a pleasant smell and doesn't bother the dog. All he does is shake after sprayed and doesn't try to lick it off.

So strong made me & my dog sick

We bought this more of deterrence and not to actually get rid of an infestation.The smell stays on your dog until their next bath, which is a very clean woodsy smell. As for the effectiveness? I am not sure of how it works on a dog with fleas. However, since their last flea treatment and spraying around the house, we haven’t noticed any new agitations from those pesky fleas and we also noticed that the mosquitoes were too bad this year either. So, I am in the belief that this product repels other pests that may be lurking to bug you.Will be purchasing this product again, when we run out of this one.

I found that this product does not have any residual effectiveness. Let me explain. I picked two fleas off of my dog and put them in a ziplock sandwich bag. They were quite active in the bag. I sprayed a 3” x 3” piece of paper towel to the point of saturation with this product and let it air dry over night. The next morning I placed the paper towel piece into the bag. Hours later, the fleas are still very active, showing no signs of detrimental affects.
