An Excellent Product
This is one of my favorite products I've ever purchased on Amazon. A balky electrical system in my new (used) car meant I needed something like this. It's perfect. Great size, easy to use, nice packaging. And it's worth paying a slight premium for a branded product rather than all the cheap trash that's out there. I wish it would charge a bit faster but that's my only complaint. I have another car now but I still use it all the time for my lawnmower – great product!

Good Unit for a Dead Battery
Good product. I have an older Ford Econoline V8 Van from 1999. It's not driven often event though the battery was replaced a couple of years ago. Went out to start it after about 2 months of non-use and the buzzer didn't even sound when sticking the key into the ignition. I tried hooking up a trickle charger for a couple of hours and while that did provide some power, it wasn't enough to turn the engine over. I ordered this, arrived same day, charged it up which took about 1.5 hours with a high-power Apple USBC charger. Placed on the dead battery, waited about 30 seconds and the van started right up. I noticed the charge on the battery of the charger reduced by about 50% so if you have a large engine or diesel, you may need the higher power unit. It met my needs, and I will carry it with me in the van. I wish the leads were a little longer, but they are long enough to reach the positive and negative terminals of the battery. I think it is reasonably priced if you have a regular 4,6,8cyl vehicle.

Works great, even when not fully charged!
I haven't used mine yet (got another as a gift, too), but got the same exact model a friend has. I was leaving work, and my truck battery decided to die that day. I went to turn my key, and only a "click", not even enough to turn the starter at all. I got my friend from inside work to come out and give me a jump start (I had cables with me). Instead, he pulls this out of his car and hooks it up to my battery. I ask him if I wait a minute before trying to start it, he told me to try right away. My truck started up right away! He then told me his starter wasn't even completely charged (he hadn't charged it for a little while). That was it, I was sold! Having cables is great if someone else is around, but what about when nobody is around? This thing covers that! Powerful, and has the other features listed. The only thing missing was a charger. It has the cable, but not the plug. So if you don't have one for this, get that too when you order this (C type charger).

This Should Be A Standard Accessory
I caught Covid and my Jeep Grand Cherokee sat for a week without being started. Went to start my vehicle and no go. My old battery jumper was no longer operating so I picked this one up. Upon first use, it's recommended to fully charge initially. Using the included USB A to USB C cable, the charging could take several hours. Luckily, I have a 60W USB C charger available. This SIGNIFICANTLY drops the charging time. Less than an hour until the initial charge.Once this was completed, jumping my Jeep was super simple. Connect the cables to the booster. Connect to + terminal first. Connect to a ground (Jeep has a post specifically for this). Power on the starter. Cranked up the Jeep. Super easy. Exactly what it should be.It can be used to power up your phone if needed or can even be used in the dark as a flashlight. There are indicators for if the device is too cold (I believe 10 degrees F), too hot, and a couple other indicators. Once I switched over from the USB A to USB C to the 60W, the fast charge indicator illuminated to show that it was rapidly charging. This charger is so much better and more reliable than my last.As others have said, you need to watch the charge of this device. After the initial full charge, charging up to around 85% for standby. I would also recommend occasionally fully draining and then fully charging every so often to keep the battery properly conditioned. This, too, can help to increase the lifespan.Overall, great product. Never heard of this brand until now, but I'm completely on board.

Reliable and very easy to use.
Works great! 1st day I had it in my trunk, a little old lady at the store had a dead battery. Her car started right up on the first crank. Have used it for other people a couple times more since then. Everyone said "oh I've got to get one of those!"Very easy to attach. No sparking. Must remember to push the override button for jumping dead car batteries.I plan to use this during power outages to recharge phones instead of using the generator. It came with a thin fabric bag that I didn't like much. I would have preferred a case. So I just kept the cardboard box it came in and use that to store it.

Compact, Powerful, and a Lifesaver in Emergencies
The NOCO Boost X GBX45 is a must-have for anyone who drives, providing reliable jump-starting power in a compact and easy-to-use package. I’ve used it to jump-start both a dead car battery and a truck, and it worked flawlessly each time—getting the engine running in seconds. With 1250A peak power, it’s capable of jump-starting up to 6.5L gas and 4.0L diesel engines, making it versatile for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even boats. The UltraSafe technology ensures no sparks or accidental shocks, making it beginner-friendly.Beyond jump-starting, it’s also a USB-C power bank, which is perfect for charging phones, tablets, or other devices in an emergency. The compact design fits easily in a glove box or trunk without taking up much space. One small thing to note: Like all lithium jump starters, it needs to be charged periodically to be ready when you need it. If you forget, it won’t help in an emergency! And here’s a quick joke: Why did the jump starter never get lost? Because it always knew how to boost in the right direction!Overall, the NOCO Boost X GBX45 is a powerful, compact, and reliable jump starter that’s perfect for emergencies, road trips, and everyday peace of mind. It’s a great investment for any driver.
