I used it to decorate a mirror. I sprayed painted it in gold, and it took the paint very well. I accentuated certain areas with gold leaf paint, and the result was beautiful. It elevated the mirror instantly.

I love this piece but could have been sanded better by the company before shipping

The product was lovely but the lesser star was for the way the item was packaged. Whoever is shipping had little regard for the fragile nature of the crafted piece. Again, great product-careless handling. Grateful we got it intact, in spite of the packagers.

Great detail work Perfect for any project

I used this applique for my fireplace. I painted the applique white with Behr's matte water-based paint. Then I used Gorilla wood glue for adhesive and taped it to hold. After adhering for 30 minutes, I applied caulk in the gaps because the applique did not sit flush, but that's expected with any wood. The applique fell when I taped it the first time but it didn't break, so I'd say it's pretty sturdy.

The media could not be loaded.  Turned out so well with my do it yourself project spray painted it gold and added it to the top of mirror. First order did come broken but replacement was fast and easy so no complaints there.

This was to cover up a air vent below my kitchen sink but did not cover it well. The top center was too high but it was cute overall!

I originally bought wood appliques from Hobby Lobby, but they were meh. I was surprised that I could find such a beautiful ( and expensive looking) applique for such a good price!
