The flavor is too delicate for my taste
I purchased this product because my favorite Yasuda Shokuhin brand is currently available on Amazon in only the 1 kilogram size. As much as like it, I simply don’t need that much at a time. In comparison, the Yamasan shio kombu has a much more delicate taste. Taste is, of course, subjective. My own preference is a product with a bolder flavor (particularly when flavoring white rice). In light of that, my opinion is 4 stars.

I typically use it as a seasoning in salads, but this did not have any flavor at all. Very disappointed 😞.I'll stick to Fujikko.
