When you open the package the first thing is the smell. It’s has a mildly sweet scent. I don’t normally like the taste of royal icing , but this brand is very good. Not too sweet and it dries beautifully. The cost is very comparable, if not cheaper than some brands. I’ve been using this brand for a few years now and have never had a problem

Makes fluffy meringue for royal icing! Tastes good, easy to use.

I’ve been using CK for years. It is my favorite when it comes to dry time, shine, and taste. However, there can be a little inconsistency in the quality. Sometimes there are little hard rocky chunks which need to be sifted out or otherwise they’ll clog your piping bag.Still my favorite meringue powder though.

I've tried several different brands of meringue powder and this is by far my favorite, the only one I'll use. It has a subtle marshmallow flavor and makes a fluffy, consistent royal icing -- no grittiness or chemical aftertaste I've found in other brands.

This works way better than Hilton brand. I presume the Wilton browned has more inert filler. I only wish that this came in a resealable bag, because when you first open it, and you only use a small amount. It’s hard to reseal. I end up having to put it inside a big Ziploc bag to seal it.

My favorite for royal icing, hands down.

I have used CK Meringue powder since 2014 when I started making cookies. I have tried other Meringue powders that were "highly recommended" by famous cookie personalities, but those were bogus. Don't buy Genie's Meringue powder, ever! I have stucked with CK brand and my icing dries quick, the taste is superb and no bitter after taste. And it is the most affordable brand in the market. Trust me, been making cookies for 6 years now.
