While I've only had this rangefinder for two weeks I could not be more pleased. I purchased as a replacement for a budget priced, Amazon Best Seller that died in less than two years. It did take a bit of getting used to but in Pin Seeker mode it provides a fast, accurate and clear readout. I would not trade it for another one of my previous model, even if they were priced the same. The case is also more substantial. Finally, I have my yardage in about 5 second while my friend is fiddling with his Bushnell for 10 to 15 seconds.

Picks up trees in back of pin more than it does pin

Picks up background features,Trees,etc.Hard to target in object. Very difficult to use on bright sunny days. (Arizona).Glaring from the sun blocks the ability to read. It's a pain the laser gives distance in meters first, then one has to keep holding the button down to get yardage.Any little flinch and you have to start over. Returning this item.

works real well

It works if you can focus in on pin, it picks up trees and other things around the pin easily. My buddy had the more expensive pin finder and it was clearer and more accurate.

It is easy to use. I bought it primarily for the driving range to check distances. I checked it against known distances and it was reasonable accurate. Not bad for the money.

Very difficult to use. I leave it in the bag.
